I'm with Retired, in that I really need to get my a/c fixed in the car...by the time I got to the bf's I was soaked again...it blow out air, and every now and then there's a coolness to it, but it's definitely not working right...gonna have to bite the bullet and take it to my mechanic...not looking forward to that, but I can't go without a/c.
Saw the discussions on learning a different language...I took 3 years of French and a year of Spanish, and sad to say I probably only remember a handful or words from either of them.
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday...it's cloudy here, so keeping the temps down in the mid 80s right now...I can live with that...especially inside with the a/c on!

We had to bite that bullet last year for my car, was worth it! Especially since I have to go to town six days a week now.

Well there goes my peaceful weekend...the boy just called to say that his truck broke down again...from the description sounds like the timing chain again...yes, the one we just had replaced last month!

Did I miss that too at some point?? I know you'd asked about the diabetic diet, but didn't understand it was about your DH.

Does DH take insulin? I'm assuming he's Type 2 since you say the meds are not working anymore...bf's mom is Type 2, has been for over 20 years...she had to go on insulin a few years back because the other meds were no longer working for her either...my son is Type 1, so he's always been on insulin.
