I don't envy you working there. People get crazy during these times, but the craziest of the crazies go there. Hope you fare out alright. I still have to walk the yard to make sure I don't have any prospective projectiles. About all I can do at this point.

I've always thought I wanted to live in a coastal area, but I'm thinking lake living will be just fine (for retirement), and just visit the coasts.
You're what, and hour inland even...if memory serves.
We get tornadoes in our area, so we're not without severe weather conditions, but I can't imagine going through rough hurricanes. Especially the waiting for the destruction to arrive.

Well one thing I always say about hurricanes is that you usually have ample warning and can choose to leave if want...can't say the same for tornadoes...and we rarely have just tornadoes here, unless they are spawned off a tropical system....I'll take my chances with the hurricanes over random tornadoes any day.
