Youch! That's still a ton of rain to deal with o_O
Lol's, no worries.

Guess I will say goodnight. I'm pooped and going to watch weather channel a bit.
The eyeball is moving ashore now.
Highes wind gusts reported so far, they say has been 116 mph. :(

Victoria are may see 89 to 90 mph overnight, they just said.
Paul, I think that's near you.

Sweet dream when you all go.

Victoria is pretty far from Paul. It's about an hour or so SE of me. I'm about 15 miles SE of San Antonio out in the boonies and it hasn't started here yet. Getting breezy, but no rain as yet.

They're saying we may rival the floods of 1998 here. That wasn't pretty at all, and resulted in quite a few deaths.

Work was a bloody 3 ring circus today. We're pretty much out of everything at this point, and people were STILL flooding into the store to get what they could. We're not going to see a fraction of what the coast is seeing right now, but people are idiotic and in a big panic.

Sounds like you're around Castroville. I'm in San Antonio, but originally from New Braunfels and you're right, 1998 was really bad. I'm hoping we get lucky and it doesn't come to far in before it skips back out.

    1. Harvey is making landfall at this time, bringing life-threatening
storm surge, rainfall, and wind hazards to portions of the Texas
coast. Hurricane conditions have been reported in the landfall
    area.

    2. A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for much of the Texas coast.
Life-threatening storm surge flooding could reach heights of 9 to
13 feet above ground level at the coast between Port Aransas and
Port O'Connor. For a depiction of areas at risk, see the Storm
Surge Watch/Warning Graphic at hurricanes.gov. Due to the slow
motion of Harvey and a prolonged period of onshore flow, water
levels will remain elevated for several days.

    3. Catastrophic and life-threatening flooding is expected across the
middle and upper Texas coast from heavy rainfall of 15 to 30 inches,
with isolated amounts as high as 40 inches, through Wednesday.
Please refer to products from your local National Weather Service
office and the NOAA Weather Prediction Center for more information
    on the flooding hazard.
