Still here. Generator wired in. stuff put away. Wind is picking up and have been getting lighter rain all day. Tonight or first thing in the morning is going to tell a different story. Angel, I see this thing extends even way into Louisiana. No big news for a veteran hurricane survivor. Looks to be a big rain event for you.
I'm off for now. I'll try to check in later. If i lose power, still have my cell until the battery dies, too.

    Home at last.
I have been for about a half hour. Getting ready to make something to eat. :)

OBG, I absolutely hate to go shopping. I agree, it's draining!!! Some women thrive on it, ready to go anytime, anywhere...nope, not me. ;)

Glad to see your update Paul. :) Take care and stay safe.

Welcome Roadtrip. :) Hope you're not in the path too.

Glad you're home, hate that you have to fix something to eat; I'm sure you're tired :(
Nah, it's fine. I was hungry for a couple eggs.

Was reading on the Cruise Critic forum. The people who are on ships that are supposed to be arriving back in Galveston this weekend, and people who are stuck in limbo (Royal Caribbean, mainly...what I saw so far) who have no idea if they're sailing or not.
I guess there are a couple ships going to make stops in New Orleans for fuel and fresh food, and wait until it's safe to return to port.

Someone who is on a Royal Caribbean ship says they're acting like all is well, they should arrive in Port Galveston on Sunday.

How weird would it be to be stuck on a ship...hoping we don't find out come the end of September.

I'm in San Antonio, we're not gonna get the brunt, but they are saying we will get somewhere from 10"-20" of rain :(
    Oh, I can't like that post. :(
My BIL (my sister's husband) is originally from San Antonio. His parents live there, out in the country somewhere.
Keeping you all in my prayers!!! :nun:
That's A LOT of rain!!! I heard some places could see in excess of 30 inches.

Dale, your dessert pics must be GINORMOUS!! Took them forever to load, and messed up my ability to like stuff! Guess it could be a blip with the forum, or my internet speed too.
