Alrighty then, I feel somewhat "normal" :p

We had a some thin ribeyes for supper ourselves :thumb:

Not sure :?: Let's just say it is :D
Let's do. :D

Yep I am getting paid to just stand watch learn for 70 hours lol
...they going to teach you how not to get wet?? :D

Dale, I'll take some of all 3! I'm ready for desert. The rain tapered off for a few and ran picked up a pizza for dinner. We have officially hit 20". Forecasted for 12-18 more by Wednesday. Oh well, as long as the house doesn't float away and the power stays on, it's all good. Just wish it would stop for the Houston folks. Off for a little desert now. Watch something on TV other than the 24 hour coverage of Houston.
Yea!! Glad it's tapered off some and you were able to get out for pizza!!

I'm with Paul and will try dessert #3.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening everyone
You too Chili.
How is Mya doing?
Yeah, and it lasts until Friday. :D
Amen to that!

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers

Going to play some games and hopefully get to bed at a decent time ;)
Sweet dreams Dale.

Yeah, what he said. I can be a  come Sunday afternoon.
Me too!!

Not anymore! I use to get depressed at around 5:00 pm every Sunday
Nope, you don't have to deal with that anymore!!

Hi Sara, hope you've had a good weekend.
I know you ran your tail off yesterday.

and... @Sir Kadly, I don't know if I told you or not, but I got 2 of the Coffee Gator's for my birthday. That coffee I've been buying, I have to get 2 lbs. at a time, I'm the only one who drinks it, so it takes awhile for me to use 2 lbs.
I had noticed that in the bag, the oils on the coffee would dry up before I would get through both pounds.
Well, when I got my last order, I put one pound in each coffee gator. I just opened the top on the one that hasn't been opened since I filled the canister, how about there's still a decent amount of oils on the beans!!
So, I'm pleased. I doubt I'd have bought them for myself, but I always need ideas for my MIL, and that worked great.
Anyhoodles, thought I'd share since we'd talked about it. :)

Hiya, Lori. The weekends just go by too darn fast for my liking. Yes, it was a nice weekend. Everyone was able to come for family dinner tonight. SIL wasn't working so we got to spend some time with her and my brother. Celebrated DH's birthday (we were on vacation for his actual bday) with ice cream cake.

I hope you had a great weekend too!!

I can't believe Labor Day is right around the corner :( School starts the Tuesday after. How fast summer came and went.

Joey, I hope your back isn't too bad and this week is better for you!! That will be a very nice paycheck come payday!!

Ending up leaving the bf's by 6 since there was a break in the rain and I wanted to beat the heavy rain that is on the way...had to stop and pick up chicken nuggets at MickeyD's for the princess and had to wait in line for 25 minutes. :glare:...Have since fed her, gave her a bath and now she's watching Paw Patrol before she goes to bed in a little bit...and then maybe I can relax for a few minutes myself.

Paul, glad you got a little break in the rain...hope your power stays on and that it doesn't get any worse for you...it's just awful in the Houston area...and bf has 2 daughters and lots of other family who lives on the outskirts there...so far none of them are flooded...but one daughter does have water up to her ankles in her yard...hoping it doesn't come up any further...keeping everyone there in prayers. :nun:

Oh and Sara, happy belated birthday to DH.

    Sweet dreams lovely lurkers.

    Sounds like a good day!!
I know, I didn't realize that Labor Day is coming right up too.
This year has totally flown by.

Good morning OBG & Dale, and all the sleeping Lurkers.
...ugh, glad y'all can't see my Monday face. :(
    Gonna be a long week.
    Work Mon, Wed., and Friday.
Tues I have a gyno appt. to follow up with a couple things the surgeon saw when he removed my appendix.
He said it was nothing that was "scary" to him, but since it's not his field of expertise, to follow up with them.
The nurse said if it had been scary that he'd have called for a consultant right then, so I'm not *too* concerned, but ready to get that taken care of and off the "to-do" list.
I'd still take any prayers you will send up for me. ;)

Then, Thurs., I have my dental cleaning at a new dentist.
Mine retired, so I'll be going to his son.
    ...too many changes this year!!
