Lunchtime flyby...

Princess didn't seem to care about my Monday face...she had her own going on this morning...she did NOT want to get up...is it terrible that I get a kick out of waking her up for a change?

And turns out I'm going to have her again tonight...she stays with my ex and his girlfriend and the gf is sick and he's out of town, so I get her again...of course her mommy can't be bothered to take her own daughter ...although if she's still on pain meds, she doesn't need to be around her.

Can't like that.

So far, so good. Looks like this persistent storm is heading back the the gulf where it's expected to make a turn and make landfall again east of Houston. That would be good for us and for Houston as that will put us on the dry side. All of us could use a little drying up.

I think we should be okay here...although they have put us under a flash flood watch for the next few days...will just depend on much rain this system throws our way.
