I know, if only they could talk. I fear she'd have been giving me a devil of a talking to.

Good morning Paul. Forgive me, I don't think I greeted you this a.m. Hope you get some down time today!
Glad you're drying out some.

I was thinking she had a few choice words for you ;)

Oh boy, me too. :( I'm sorry Paul. Good morning and I hope you are able to relax a bit before your next big project.

Dale, we made it home last night. We usually go for two days. Then we have Monday to recoup before school starts on Tuesday. The rain wasn't super horrible yesterday. We got wet but made the best of it. :) I fed a giraffe!! That was pretty cool!

Good morning, Sara[emoji4]. I'll get some downtime after lunch.
That's pretty cool feeding a giraffe! I did that at the Los Angeles Zoo eons ago. That silly giraffe bent down and licked me right in the face with that long green looking tongue of hers!

    Thank!!

That's what I've always used, and I love it.

I'm not much for framing stuff either.
But since I've been looking around at various sites, FB stitching group, various blogs, and Instagram, wow...lots of different choices out there to finish your finished projects.
They don't just mat and frame things these days. [emoji23]
Course, years and eons ago, when I was stitching, in our area, the popular way to finish was to put it in a hoop, sometimes a decorative hoop, and hot glue ruffled lace or some other ruffled fabric to the backside of the hoop.
    Yes, dating myself here...[emoji38]
There are a lot of what they call "smalls" that people are stitching. Sooooooo pretty. They finish them into little pillows, and put them in wooden bowls on a table, or turn them into Christmas ornaments.
LOVE them!! Have a long list of wantsies!! [emoji23]

Good morning, Lori[emoji4]. It's easy to miss someone once everyone gets going in the morning. I finished on project, and now a final coat of paint on another, clean up and get out of here.

OH Dale, I want to thank you, and the group for allowing me to land here. It has helped me to become way more active within the forums.
Good morning, KC[emoji4]. We're glad to have you here. This is the only thread I am really active in, even though I don't have time, sometimes. It's amazing how little computer time I have. It does get easy to be involved in some threads once you get to know some folks.

It is easy sometimes. I also have to really watch for new posts that happen when I'm typing a reply!!
Especially if we really get to posting back and forth, if I don't refresh often, I'll miss posts for sure.

...off to eat and get moving. :)

Definitely, laundry to do, pick up some, get the backpack ready for tomorrow and then DHs parents are coming for dinner. Favorite treats yesterday were the 'Cuse pizza and blue raspberry moonshine slushies. I need to figure out the blue raspberry moonshine and make them at home

Bwahaha she thought you looked tasty ;)

I've never been that close to a giraffe. I held the carrot stick up and bam it disappeared. Their heads are so much bigger up close. They also had a kangaroo, zebras, a highland cow and the usual llamas, camels, alpaca and sheep.

I agree with all that. After spending my time here, I usually forget to venture anywhere else on the board, unless I'm looking for answers.

She's over there snoring.as loud as a human.
Looks like I better mop in here too. I see something dribbled on the floor, and my fake rose bush is no longer centered on the stand.

    Good morning Lurkers :)

    Poor little Rita
She's having a time with this brisket in the house.:lol::lol:
She was sitting with me on the sofa until DH came up from the basement and heated up brisket for his breakfast...then she had to get down, like *right now*.
When he went back to the basement, she curled up there and fell asleep. *sigh* Gonna be a long day.
