Yes pricing the stuff placing in totes and labeling the totes as yard sale made a HUGE difference. We still have some to sort through but have figured out that having three piles works well.
    1. trash
    2. save
    3. sell/donate
Just have to be very determined to make every thing fit into one of those three categories (difficult for some items), and just deal with one tote at a time.

Good morning, Dale and the rest of the sleeping Lurkers

Got the yard all cleaned up this weekend and got the lawn mowed. All the ground firmed up enough to be able to do this. Today, I'm going in to work at least for a few hours. Have a couple of projects to finish up. Hope most of you are going to have the day off today. Enjoy!

Good morning Dale, KC, R1, Sara, and the sleeping Lurkers.

So, last night, Rita was toooooooo funny.
We'd given her a bite here and there of the brisket...and our kitchen was smelling absolutely wonderful because DH had it inside wrapped in foil cooling/resting.
Well, Rita could not get that brisket off her mind and calm down to sit with me on the sofa.
I put her up there, and she was just Miss Antsy pants. She sat there 10 minutes and wanted back down.
Went back in the kitchen, I assume to smell around the floor some more...
Then she sat at the door between the kitchen and the living room for about 20 min just staring at me, as if to say "come in here!!"
Then, she sat on the floor with her back to me...
Bless her heart, she loved it.

    ...I'll go grab the pic I took...BRB.

Oh, and many thanks for the coffee this a.m.

So just curious...Dale, Angel, Chili...or anyone else who may do counted cross stitch, did/do you stitch on aida, or do you prefer linen, or evenweave, or some of the other brands/types of the specialty fabrics?
I tried a linen, MANY years ago, just couldn't master it, have no idea which type I had, but the project and the fabric ended up in the trash.
I see a lot being done on the linen type fabrics, I might try one that a gal I follow uses, but was just curious what you all used.
I love aida because it's stiff enough to work with, and the dots/holes are precise and best of all, I can work with it easily.
I use a magnifier, but I'm hoping with new glasses (appt. next week), I won't have to use the magnifier as much.

... excuse the cord, was watching you tube on my computer last night, and there's no good place to put it.
Lost the Roku to DH about a year ago. Lol's.

Oh my goodness. Lol. If only pets could talk.... :w00t:

Here's the current stage of completion.
Ugh, I'm on a section of stitching that is 50 stitches wide, the thread is barely one shade darker than the fabric. Help mercy I want to get this section done.

Looking good  Hopefully you'll get through this challenging section quickly.

    ETA Good morning, Lori

Yuck, that's hard but is a part of it ;)

Mostly pillow cases and Aida. I'm not much for framing stuff but love stitched pillows and dish cloths :). Flour sack cloth.

No, I really don't have to. These are small projects, and one is mine, that I need done and out of my shop before a bigger project hits.

I'm not much for framing stuff either.
But since I've been looking around at various sites, FB stitching group, various blogs, and Instagram, wow...lots of different choices out there to finish your finished projects.
They don't just mat and frame things these days.
Course, years and eons ago, when I was stitching, in our area, the popular way to finish was to put it in a hoop, sometimes a decorative hoop, and hot glue ruffled lace or some other ruffled fabric to the backside of the hoop.
    Yes, dating myself here...
There are a lot of what they call "smalls" that people are stitching. Sooooooo pretty. They finish them into little pillows, and put them in wooden bowls on a table, or turn them into Christmas ornaments.
LOVE them!! Have a long list of wantsies!!
