I inherited the tendency, if that's possible, from my dad...oh my goodness, he was particular, about everything...I'm much better than I used to be...at least I think so.

Lori, I used to use the Aida, but I did use linen a few times for special projects that I did for other people...I did have a few of mine framed, but they were gifts I made for family and friends....poor Rita, you need to give that baby some meat!

I'm interested enough to try it. Some of the new patterns I ordered call for it, although I know you can stitch on whatever you want.
I actually saw someone say in a discussion that the only rule in cross stitch is that you *must* put the thread through the eye of the needle. Beyond that, do as *you* want to.
The nice fabrics are just gorgeous though.
I might have to venture out of my comfort zone (again).
