I'm sitting back with a drink now, but still have laundry to finish and have to get my vape gear squared away since I'll be heading to the bf's after work tomorrow...no rest for the wicked.

I learned a LONG time ago to check that sucker at least 2 days before cooking. Nothing quite ruins the cooking plans to find a frozen bird in the fridge, even if it's been sitting in the fridge for several days.
Don't have to worry about it this year. Working tomorrow as the thieves will be out in force during the mob rush at work.

Don't have to worry about no bird here...or cooking at all...the bf will be doing a ham (his mother hates turkey) and I just get to sit back and relax (well I may help with some of the sides, but won't get more than that outta me).
I know it's going to be a busy day again, but at least it'll lead to the 4 day weekend, so it's all good...hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I'm hoping to get off a little early today. Not like I have a lot of prep work for Thanksgiving, just because I feel like being home, knowing I'll have 4 days off.
Have to check the bird when I get home. It's a small one, but it was still pretty hard yesterday. I might have to put it in the sink out in the rv overnight. It's going to get cold tonight, so no real worries about it getting warm. Not making much tomorrow. Just mashed potatoes and dressing. It's only going to be DW and myself, plus I'll take a plate to my dad.
