Good afternoon, Lurkers:wub:

@JoeyC , so glad you are home! And congrats on your marriage, too!
@angelphyre, that's great news about your son!

...just got DH's TxTag toll bill from Sept. or Oct.
Something like $12 bucks...You're welcome Texas.
He'll be back to contribute again in Jan.
Lori, if he goes to Texas often, he should get online and get a TxTag for his windshield. They never expire. You put some money down into your account and it take it out automatically whenever you hit one of the multitude of tollbooths here. I have mine tied to a credit card, so when my balance falls to, I think, $10, it replenishes with another $40. I don't go too often where they have tolls, but it's nice to just fly though on the TxTag lanes.

I am actually off the rest of the day! We've been doing installs and have another next week near Houston, and we have to get started on another job now, but our wood delivery won't be in until later this afternoon, so there's nothing for me to do for once. Just out doing some tidying up around the yard now. You all have a great afternoon!

Thank you very much for the info, that would be awesome for him to do.
He's just not always in the same vehicle. Wonder if you can get more than one tag tied to the same account.
He's sometimes in his work truck, or our car, and sometimes he's in a rental car.
I know he's going boar hunting, and then the golf industry trade show, not sure if he'll go to the F1 race, or if it's even in Texas in 2018, I would imagine it will be.
I think these tolls have been around Austin, but not 100% sure, the bill says, but none of it was familiar to me.
Oh well, no biggie, just part of traveling really.

Alrighty, lunch is over and I need to get moving again.
Have a good afternoon all. :)

I have two TxTags, one for my truck, the other for my DW's car. As far as rental cars go, you're on your own there. No tags for rentals. But if he can use the lanes and get billed later without penalty, that's great. Don't try it in Houston, though. They do impose penalties.

In your nightmares
I bet you do. I hope it does't cause you a lot of discomfort.
Yes it sure is all the good meds they used during the surgery has worn off now. All the muscles around the hip are very sore from them dislocating the hip to do the replacement. I am not going to do much today except medicate, very easy exercises and lay down lol

That would be a good idea. Just take it easy for a little. My dad had a hip replacement about 30 years ago and it's still working for him at 83.
