In your nightmares
Good evening Lurkers, another 10 hour day. Guess I’m not supposed to watch NCIS anymore

I’m like Angel, it was cold all day! Two pair of socks, fleece lined leggings under my jeans and two shirts made it barely doable.

Glad to see you are doing well Joey :thumb:

Sandwich for supper, was the quickest and easiest :|

I’m bout ready for my bed!

Hiya Dale

Still painful yet but getting better :)
Hope you have an easier day tomorrow :)

Hiya Angel

Yep tomorrow and Thursday I have appointments, the temps are going to be rough the next fews days :nah: lol
Ugh...hate you have to get out in that...bundle up and stay warm.

It's a mix. Bear's Creek, something like that, then I added diced ham. The soup was saltier than we care for, great flavor, and definitely edible, but a bit on the salty side. :( Have loads of leftovers though.
I might get a couple potatoes to chunk up and put in it...I'm thinking that's about the only thing to curb saltiness...course my memory is crap sometimes.
His mom made hers from scratch...cooked it all day Friday and was so darn good, especially the next day after it sat for a while...yeah, try the potato, or maybe serve over plain rice...might help offset the saltiness.

Us Southerners just aren't made for this cold weather.

Well, I have fallen asleep several times in my chair, so time to drag myself into my warm, cozy bed...sweet dreams lovely lurkers.

Good morning Joey, Dale and lurkers

Joey, glad your pt went well. Dale, hope today is a quicker day for you. Lori, dinner looked delicious, sorry it was so salty. I'm pretty sure you were correct with the potato. But I think Angel's idea with the white rice could work too!

Stay warm and I hope you all have a good day. :)

    Good morning Lurkers :)

A few cans of diced ones is more better and you don't have to cook your soup to death their pre cooked :2c:

Good morning Lori, KC, OBG and Angel

I will have to remember that, OBG. Canned potatoes. Should they be rinsed first?

Our warm up is supposedly coming on Sunday but will be short lived. I'm predicting a snow day on Friday for kiddo. Windchills in the -20s.

Off I go. Enjoy, everyone. :)

    Afternoon, Lurkers[emoji4].

Looks like everything survived our 20° night last night. Supposed to warm up to 30° tonight. Shouldn't have to worry about my pipes. Looked kinda funny, our pool was frozen over this morning. Looking forward to this weekend where it's going to make the 60's. Busy weekend. I was out winterizing the plumbing as well as I could. Much of it under the house I did what I could. Still, we kept the water trickling last night. Hope everyone is staying warm.

    Good evening all :)

I left work a little early, simply could not deal with the temperature any longer.
At one point it was warmer outside than in the shop  I swear!

Can’t wait for the weekend, hope it’s quiet and lonely  Bet Bela comes for an overnight though ;)

Hope everyone else was a little warmer than me today :)
