Tomorrow doesn't look like it's going to be such a good day to be out. Starting overnight, we'll have plunging temps and wintry precipitation, mostly ice and not supposed to get above freezing all day and have 20+mph winds. I wish I could just stay home tomorrow.

Good morning, Lurkers[emoji4]. Our weekend down here was chilly overnight temps and the days were cool but dry. A good way to start off the week. Looks like it'll be the best day of the week. You all be careful out there and stay warm.

Depending on how bad it gets with the icing, I just may stay home. I don't relish sharing the roads with idjits who don't have experience driving in this stuff.

One thing's for sure. If I do go in, truck stays home and I'll be taking the car which has full time AWD.

Snow or ice predicted here too. Trip to the grocery store getting ready to happen!
Better now than later. I don't think I have to get anything. Did my grocery shopping this weekend.

I have a few odds and ends I need to snag from the store, but nothing major as far as full fledged shopping trip. I big ol' pot of beef stew does sound yummy, though. Might pick up the fixin's for that.
Beef stew does sound good! Update to my shopping list :)

Instead of using flour or corn starch to thicken it, I always use barley. Gives a thick and hearty robustness to the stew that's hard to beat. :)

What is really funny is when it gets so bad that people stay home is when I have go out and get rolling because the businesses need to be open when the idiots can venture out again! Hopefully I don't need to try and make time traveling around the fools who should not be out! Never ceases to amaze me how many people decide to pass or get in front of a Snow Plow. Do you really think you can go where I can't?

@retired1 is ECF having issues, or is it not compatible with my older iPad maybe? Logged in and out, closed and reopened.
I was going to post a picture the other day and didn't. Can you check that it's not hanging something up.
I get this on my iPad, it won't let me put any text in the box.... very weird.

I don't know that it's your older iPad because earlier today I tried to respond to a post in the general forum and there was no text box. Just reply and more options buttons. :2c:

Just finished off a chili dog brunch here :lol::lol::lol::lol:

...well, it let me quote, and it pulled up the other text box.

    Anyway, good evening all.

Sara, hope you're not coming down with something!!

R1, Paul, Chili, ole folks...and any other Tx person...hope your nasty weather doesn't last!!

Steve, you're much warmer than we are!!

OBG, we got less than 2 inches, maybe an inch and a half.
Our street was snow covered, but the highways were just wet. No issues at all.
They were dry tonight, patches of icy/snow, but not big patches, nothing that would cause any problems.

Off to clean up the kitchen and go soak. :)
