Morning Dale, Lori, KC, Retired and all Lurkers! Sure hope everyone is warm. It is 16 here but we didn't get any ice or snow here! It totally bypassed us and went south and east.
But on the brighter side we are supposed to be at 70 on Saturday
Texas is so crazy when it comes to weather

Well, everything is frozen. My truck doors were frozen shut with 1/4" of ice all over. Took awhile for the defrost to start breaking up enough of it to see out the windshield. My shop door was frozen up. Had to use a heat gun to thaw out the lock. Wish I didn't have to be out at all.
Oh, a fine good morning Lurkers[emoji4]. I know there are others dealing with worse than we have here, but for us it's terrible! It's raining ice out there now. 26° out and won't get any warmer today with 25-30mph winds. You all stay warm and safe.

Ugh.. Hope the mast stays intact. I can hear it shaking outside. Thankfully, the business end of the dish is pointing away from the wind, so hopefully won't ice up and kill my Internet access. (My Internet is through a wireless provider, and I have a 50 foot mast outside with a dish pointing to the cell tower.)

Ugh.. Hope the mast stays intact. I can hear it shaking outside. Thankfully, the business end of the dish is pointing away from the wind, so hopefully won't ice up and kill my Internet access. (My Internet is through a wireless provider, and I have a 50 foot mast outside with a dish pointing to the cell tower.)

I have cable 50meg internet and it went down this morning. Had to take my cellphone off Wi-Fi in order to access internet via data.

Yeah, phone can always be used as a backup if needed as I kept the unlimited plan on it when I signed up with ZipLink for Internet access. The joys of living out in the sticks.
