Love the quotes today and those pancakes are calling my name
Fresh blanket of snow out there. It was so nice to finally see the driveway bare the past couple of days.![]()
Lols we eat breakfast food for dinner oftenI definitely prefer waffles but for some reason those pancakes looked good. Reminds me of a funny story DH likes to repeat from time to time.
After a routine checkup when I was pregnant, he took me to Perkins for dinner. I was craving pancakes. A little girl at a table next to ours was shocked “Mom, that lady over there is eating pancakes for dinner!!!!!!”
Yeah, I’m definitely over the snow.
Quick and satisfyingBreakfast food is one of the quickest things to prepare so we do too!! Society is definitely weird![]()
Kind of was Sara, I’m enjoying some peace and quiet nowBusy weekend, DaleEnjoy ALL the fam
Working on making some texas toast pizzas, chicken wing dip in the crockpot. A different version of pizza/wings for the superbowl. Brownie sundaes for dessert.
I’ve got a warm throw across my feet and a new book myself. You deserve that quiet time, Dale
No football for me either. Tucked in under my electric blanket, just about to start a movie.

Lori!! So very good to see youGood morning Lurkers!
Yes, I know, it's been a minute or two since I visited, but I think of y'all often!!
It's been a bit of a CRAZY time, the past year. I guess you could say that we joined the Great Resignation...literally, but not permanently...
We've made some MAJOR life decisions the past year, and left Illinois for Florida. SW Florida, Pine Island.
If you look on the map, it's just West of Cape Coral, on the Gulf.
We closed on the sale of our house in IL on Dec. 8th, and left that afternoon for the final trip South.
We absolutely love it here.
We moved to a 55 and over community, and we have the best neighbors.
I could go on and on, but it would be a VOLUME.
We have two more weeks coming up that family will be here visiting, the last group comes March 8th - 11th, and after that we'll be looking for new jobs and getting back to the reality of working.
...I can DEFINITELY tell you that I NEVER, ever, EVER want to pack up our entire household and move again....EVER.
We have always planned to eventually retire in FL, but after watching so many (nationwide) pass from Covid, and two who were close friends, and in their 50's pass (quickly) from cancer, we just decided that (as we all know), tomorrow isn't promised...and started making plans to just DO IT NOW (the moving part, not the retiring part...LoL's.
Good evening SaraGood evening Lori and Dale

Not much new in our world, lost a grandson (premature) and have a new granddaughter named Kalli.
I never did go back to work but will be old enough to draw SS this year, won’t amount to anything![]()
