    Good morning Dale

Love the quotes today and those pancakes are calling my name :D

Fresh blanket of snow out there. It was so nice to finally see the driveway bare the past couple of days.
    Good morning Sara
Ugh more snow for you :( Glad we don’t get that kind of weather.
It’s weird, I don’t care for pancakes but love waffles :?:

I definitely prefer waffles but for some reason those pancakes looked good. Reminds me of a funny story DH likes to repeat from time to time.

After a routine checkup when I was pregnant, he took me to Perkins for dinner. I was craving pancakes. A little girl at a table next to ours was shocked “Mom, that lady over there is eating pancakes for dinner!!!!!!”

Yeah, I’m definitely over the snow.

Yum I could go for a brownie sundae! I had leftover ribs and a little salad, no football for me though ;)

    Good morning Lurkers!
Yes, I know, it's been a minute or two since I visited, but I think of y'all often!!

It's been a bit of a CRAZY time, the past year. I guess you could say that we joined the Great Resignation...literally, but not permanently...

We've made some MAJOR life decisions the past year, and left Illinois for Florida. SW Florida, Pine Island.
If you look on the map, it's just West of Cape Coral, on the Gulf.
We closed on the sale of our house in IL on Dec. 8th, and left that afternoon for the final trip South.
    We absolutely love it here.
We moved to a 55 and over community, and we have the best neighbors.
I could go on and on, but it would be a VOLUME.
We have two more weeks coming up that family will be here visiting, the last group comes March 8th - 11th, and after that we'll be looking for new jobs and getting back to the reality of working.

...I can DEFINITELY tell you that I NEVER, ever, EVER want to pack up our entire household and move again....EVER.:-x

We have always planned to eventually retire in FL, but after watching so many (nationwide) pass from Covid, and two who were close friends, and in their 50's pass (quickly) from cancer, we just decided that (as we all know), tomorrow isn't promised...and started making plans to just DO IT NOW (the moving part, not the retiring part...LoL's.

Lori!! So very good to see you :wub:
And what wonderful news, so very happy for you :)

Not much new in our world, lost a grandson (premature) and have a new granddaughter named Kalli.
I never did go back to work but will be old enough to draw SS this year, won’t amount to anything
