We had steak for the boys, chicken for me. Gotta make room for another 1/2 cow. We put our name on the list. Prices at the store are outrageous.
LMBO, Rat2. That is too much work for me but if I don’t, no one will. I have got the kid doing his own laundry but if I don’t stay on top of him, washed clothes could sit there all weekend and I obviously need to wash my own. I stopped washing Dh’s shortly after we were married and discovered he doesn't empty pockets. That is NOT my job, he does his own.

I can't remember the last time I did NOT read before I went to bed or while I am taking my walk. I have always loved reading, even as a little pug-nosed kid with glasses. I suppose it also means I have always loved to escape.I’ll be reading until bedtime so good night lurkers

Disclaimer. I fully agree I am a dork. There are different forums besides this one that I visit. Sometimes people post links that are for TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit. While I don’t post anything to those platforms I do have accounts for all of them so I can view the links. Lately I’ve been spending more time than I care to admit on tiktok because a good percentage of those videos make me laugh my .... off.
There is something about spending your downtime laughing. Lol it lifts you spirits But I’ve also discovered some new recipes I’d like to try and kitchen hacks etc.

I closed out my Twitter and hardly ever go to FB here lately. TikTok is one I have never tried. I laugh a lot on Rumble. I went through a phase of Pinterest that took a bunch of time. It is a great place to keep my recipes. Of course, I have them all in categories and easy to find what I am looking for. I think I used to have the potential to be a very productive woman before I got a laptop. 
I got ready to change the oil and filter in dad's truck and saw that it was leaking antifreeze. Ugh. I am not fond of mechanic work so we are taking it to a friend of mine who does it for a living tomorrow. Told dad while it was there, he could change the oil so I am taking it with me. That is how you get out of doing dirty jobs. heehee
Oops, I forgot. I was tired so I ended up taking a cheese-stuffed pizza out and popping it into the oven. After I added the hot sausage, green pepper, onions, and pineapple. . . it was pretty darn tasty. I love easy nights!!!!
