If you saw all the stuff I carry in my pocketbook, you'd think that I was a Girl Scout. I'm ready for just about anything. Also why my bag weighs 10 lbs and my back hurts. View attachment 974093
Yes mine is too heavy too
Sad thing is I carry a lot of stuff I’ve never needed o_O

    Good evening lurkers

I am so glad he had the opportunity as well and we would definitely never force him to do something that he has lost interest in. I am a music lover. All kinds. I listen to everything. Even commercial music. If something catches my ear, I have to find out who and what it is.

I played the flute in school. I have decided to purchase his sax. We are renting to own through a local music place. He taught me to play a little during the pandemic. Learning the cello is on my bucket list.

mmmmm mashed tates and green beans. We had tacos for Cinco De Mayo.

glad you got the yardwork done before the rain!!

Pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and broccoli
Yum, that sounds so good. Hope you don't pay for it too bad.

Took my dad and aunt to eat at Smithfield's Chicken. Stopped by Walmart to pick up one thing that they did not have and came out with chocolate-covered donuts. And that's not the worse part. I stopped by Arby's and got us Mocha Milkshakes. If you are going to be bad. . . do it right. I did walk almost 6 miles today. 3 miles pushing a mower so, I justified my treats. Tomorrow will be better. (I hope)

    Hi Sara
Hope today was better for you.
DD played the flute too. If I remember correctly we bought her a used flute, don’t know if she still has it or not

My eyes had started getting better until yesterday when I mowed. It must be the pollen. As soon as I woke up I grabbed the bottle of eye drops and while putting them in, got a slight crick in my neck now. heehee Looks like it is gonna be one of those days.

So glad I got a short walk in between showers. Did not even have to get the umbrella out today. I just got an alert on my phone that my county is under a tornado watch until 10 pm. Calling for thunderstorms all afternoon. Good! I am not fond of yellow cars and I don't wash vehicles during the pollen season.

I am glad it is the weekend even though I have no big plans. Hope everyone is having:wub: a great afternoon.

    Good evening ladies

Hope nothing is too severe for you Rat2.

Sorry you gals are dealing with allergies. :( I’d say hope that’s over soon but we know how that goes. Kiddo sometimes had eye issues and we use Zaditor when it’s really bugging him.

We did air fryer apps. Mama is taking the weekend off from cooking :)

Thank you Sara Love but I thought my itchy eyes were going to pop out of my head when I went to Amazon and saw how much they cost.

We had chicken and green beans also, along with baked potatoes, applesauce, garlic bread, and of course, a chocolate-covered donut. Just 1 and I am finished eating for the night. (fingers crossed)

I lost the internet for about 15 minutes this afternoon. Little thunderstorms but not like what I was expecting. Took another hour walk after supper to atone for my donut. I hear thunder now but it is not close by yet.

Happy Friday night to everyone.
