I just read a non supernatural paperback, The Slow Way Back by Judy Goldberg and throughly enjoyed it.
    Thank you Sara!

Maiden Sarah’s Story by Deborah Hainley Bonnar. It is an vampire e book. There are 3 “books” and I’ve reread them so many times I wish I could buy hard copies.
Will have to look into those. Ty

Sure wish you lived closer as I purchased the complete series of Twilight, would lend them to you in a heart beat. I also enjoy V.C. Andrews and Nora Roberts but those aren’t supernatural lol.
Yeah... just imagine all the books we could exchange if we all lived closer. :w00t:

I’ve never seen any of the twilight movies nor read the books,
I thought the twilight movies were good. Hmmm, seen them more than once. And... I'm about to watch them again. ;)

My iPad and iPhone do have some ebooks on them. They're just not my main preference for reading. I suppose it's easier for the younger folks who never had real books with actual pages to turn.

Flipping virtual pages just isn't as fun! :D

streaming an old series I started watching called Revolution. Only two seasons but I like Billy Burke
Revolution was a good show. I was bummed when it got cancelled.

That seems to happen to all the shows I like.

Good morning Dale, ShowMeTwice and lurkers

Thank you for the lovely breakfast and quotes, Dale.

Been under the weather the last few days. Tested 3x and all were negative
Still feeling lousy but obviously resting isn’t helping lmao!

Definitely love flipping pages vs staring at a screen, ShowMeTwice.

I agree with Joey, Rat2, grab a package of hot dogs and keep em in the freezer. That’s what we do.

We had quite the storm with hail last night too, Dale. Thunder was very loud and Lucy was going crazy. Finally gave her some melatonin.

Candles are okay but no internet? Now that is scary to me. heehee
Really??? No internet, that wouldn't bother me. I'd just spend more time than I already do out in nature. Oh yeah, and reading... real books!  Board games, card games... etc. etc.

I mean... remember all the cool things we did before the internet???

No internet, would take me about... oh, about half a nanosecond to adjust. :D

Hmmm... life without the internet... I see many pluses to that, yep.

For starters... People would actually have to communicate LIVE with other people... face-to-face... all over again! Thinkin' that would be a Major Positive.

And writing letters to each other. Remember those? I do, loved them and dearly miss those days. Heck, I even had pen pals when I was a kid!

Imagine that... two lost arts... would gain New Life.

Where do I find the BIG PLUG that unplugs the internet???

I dread taking those clothes to the church. Using the big lawn and garden bags was not well thought out. Clothes are heavy.
Oooooh, I know that task very well!

When my wife died I hauled many bags of her clothes, and stuff, to a Woman's Rescue Shelter. IIRC I made four trips. My car was loaded for each one.

And geez... I never knew she had THAT many clothes and shoes and 'other' stuff!!!

I was very happy knowing her stuff would go to Women in need.

Thinking of taking a supervisor position, it would be a big pay cut though. Only plus to it is 8 hr days 5 days a week.
I did a similar thing many years ago. I used to fly all over the place in my job. On call 24/7/365, didn't matter if I was on vacation or if it was a holiday. For 20+ years the road was my home.

When I was offered a management position I took it, in a heartbeat. For me it was all about spending, and enjoying, more time at home, and with my wife, family and friends. It was the best work related decision I ever made.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do! :)

I am looking at buying a new tooter or two because my stuff needs to be updated. The only thing I have bought in years is a Coolfire mini which I use when I'm walking. The 2013 Sigelei is still working but it could go out anytime. I still use the reo's I started out with long ago. What do y'all love using? I' would appreciate any suggestions. View attachment 974951 There are so many new ones that I have never heard of. Gets sort of confusing for me when I am comparing everything.
You can't go wrong with a GeekVape Aegis Solo, I have three. They always work. The Solo does wattage and TC. GV's temp control is good (if you are into TC).

And you cannot go wrong with any of the new Innokin mods. Everyone on ECF who has them... loves 'em. I know @FranC has one or three Innokin mods, I just don't recall which ones.

Good luck with your search Rat! :)

Thinkin' I bombarded y'all pretty good this morning...

...so... off to visit other parts now!!!

Nice breakfast and quotes Dale, ty.

I was just thinking about Redd yesterday. Reread the last PM she sent me. Sure do miss her. I know she's in a better place, but still, she is missed. :)

I miss her lovely "muses from a mystic" posts...

Good morning Sara and SMT
One of the best things about paper books is they don’t require electricity :w00t:

Sara I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been under the weather :( Hope you feel better soon!

Why yes... I have and do. A couple times a year I completely disconnect myself from the internet, on purpose, for up to a month. It's like a vacation for me. Recharges my internal batteries o_O, no ummm, my noggin'! :D

    Good evening lurkers :)
Enjoyable day with son and 3 granddaughters , now I’m pooped
Looks a lot like leftover pizza for supper. Too tired to mess with anything else.

Seriously thinking about, only problem will be the salary I will lose about $30k and my seniority if I take the job. Need to find out what they are going to offer me to take it.
