    LOL
    Hi SMT :)

    Thanks :)

Seriously thinking about, only problem will be the salary I will lose about $30k and my seniority if I take the job. Need to find out what they are going to offer me to take it.
That doesn’t sound so good :(

Another busy day here. Got all the yard work done though and it looks wonderful. One I hope to live where I will not own a mower and on Saturday I will get out the little battery-operated blower so I can clean off the patio and not track debris from the door to my hot tub sitting by the fire pit that I just switch on. heehee If you are gonna dream. . . dream big.

The Sunday family time took us to Poblano's Mexican Restaurant and it was absolutely wonderful. I ate like a little piggie.

That seems to happen to all the shows I like.

and the ones that I go "Meh", stay on for fifty-eleven seasons. Go figure.

I mean... remember all the cool things we did before the internet???

I even had pen pals when I was a kid!
An elderly woman taught me to knit when I was about 6 years old. She had been a nurse and I could sit and listen to her stories for hours. She moved away and we became pen pals. Even her letters were special. I have people I stay in contact with but they better be glad it is electronically. I am not sure anyone could read my "scratch" anymore. I have a lovely signature but that's it.

You can't go wrong with a GeekVape Aegis Solo
It is actually in first place. I am trying to narrow down my choices. I am very critical when I am picking out something and do lots of research and YouTube's. I use my stuff for a long time so I have to make sure it is durable and withstands the abuse. I'm clumsy as all get out.

I miss her lovely "muses from a mystic" posts...
There is not a soul that ever read her words, that does not miss her and think of her often.

A couple times a year I completely disconnect myself from the internet, on purpose, for up to a month.
That is quite admirable. I may try that one day. We will call that "DEATH".

    A lot to lose, Joey.

That doesn’t sound so good :(
Yep which is why I am still thinking on it. Only thing I can say id next year I will lose money anyway when the plant goes 3 shifts. My annual salary is around $70k, if I can negotiate to $75k I will take it.

    Good morning Sara
Happy you’re at least feeling a little better :)

Still smiling and chuckling over that Rat2

‘Well you also have to consider your physical condition and just how long you think you’ll be able to keep working like you are. Surely supervising would be easier on you physically ... although mentally

    Good morning Everyone :)

Dale... there are days where I just like to do no internet at all. Lately that's been a couple/few days a week. I used to work on large-scale mainframe systems and networks for a living. This all started back then, before the whole modern internet became a thing. The last thing I wanted to do when I got home was anything related to technology.

Rat... yeah I wonder what's up with the silly TV execs. How dare they cancel the good shows on us. Jerks!

To this day I love listening to elderly folks stories about their lives and experiences. I can sit and listen for hours. When I was a youngster I used to go visit my Great Grandmother every day. The old age home she was in was a short bike ride from our house. I got to know many of the folks there. During Xmas time I would take my sax and play holiday songs for them in their dining room. I wasn't very good back then, but they all enjoyed it.

I think you would be very happy with a Solo mod. On YouTube there is a video of someone, on purpose, driving over their Solo. It didn't show any damage, other than a few scuff marks, and most importantly it still worked.

Sarah... sorry I didn't know you were ill. I hope you feel better soon.

Joey... I know well the feeling of losing a big chunk of salary. It took me some time to come to terms with it. In the end I was able to negotiate a better salary, four weeks of vacation and compensation time for anything over 40 hours. The last 10 years of my working career, with vacation and comp time, I had off 2 sometimes 3 months paid each year. That time off was priceless to me.

I hope you are able to negotiate for what you want. Start high. Ask for more vacation time. In my experience, companies do have some flexibility with how much vacation time they are able to offer.

Be well y'all and enjoy your day!!!

    Good evening lurkers

When do you have to let them know by, Joey?

SMT, caught some sort of nasty respiratory bug. Maybe it was covid but the tests said no. Not that I have much faith in them lol.

Thanks, Dale. Survived Monday so I’m doing alright ;)
Just put the app in today so I should know soon.
