Woot!! 3 day weekend and I’m mostly back to normal. Still have minor congestion. It’s supposed to be really nice too! So looking forward to that.

‘Bela and Lyriq are spending the night or the weekend, not sure how long Lyriq will stay. Church has a game night tonight that they are going to. DH is bringing home kid friendly takeout

Dh stopped by work at lunchtime with Mexican and there were leftovers. So that was dinner for kiddo. I was still full but sat with him while he ate. Household rule: no one eats dinner alone unless they are the only one here
Busy day tomorrow preparing for Sunday. Family coming over for a cookout. So I’m going to call it a night and catch up on some shows. Sweet dreams

I forgot to tell y'all yesterday that I finally got a watermelon. I guess Lidl's put them on sale for Memorial Day for $3.99 which is the best price I have seen so far this year. The big sign said they were seedless as well as my receipt but when I sliced it, it was not.
Even that did not upset me (I can spit out seeds). I served it for supper and dad told me to throw it away. I am going to try to eat it but I have never had a watermelon that had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. So much for my thumping skills. (it sounded right)
It is going to be a little warm for my liking but at least it is not raining. Nothing special planned. Just the usual. . . walk, read, and repeat.
