Oh, I am so happy dad criticized my supper and told me to throw it out. Bless his heart. He's feeling better. View attachment 975564bahahahaha

He wanted soup so I took a can of cream of chicken and added real chicken and rice to it. I tasted it and thought it was good. He just like chicken and noodles and that's it. I had a delicious salad with chicken on top. So good on a hot day.
    Sounds picky like a kid.

That's okay. I remember how to handle a 2-year-old and it comes in handy with an 88-year-old man.

But he better not bite me. heehee

Dale, do you still have the young ones with you? You might have said but I did not catch it.

Sara, I hope going back to work today was better than expected. I remember how short weeks seemed to last longer than regular ones. I never did figure out why.

Remember me telling you about the tasteless, seeded watermelon I got the other day? I will not waste it but I will admit that sitting here every night spitting seeds irritates me just thinking about how many people got the wrong kind because of the grocery stores sign. With Memorial Day, I bet they sold bunches.

Spitting is so gross. I never have liked it. That is all they do at baseball games and why I rarely watch them. Maybe it helps them slide into home plate better.

    Good morning lurkers

Absolutely, Rat2. Shorter weeks are the longest! I was so tired yesterday, not sure why as I slept really well Monday night. Kept nodding off at my desk. That is not like me even if I sleep poorly.

Bet a lot of people were disappointed with the melon! Maybe you could blend it with some ice and make a ..../mocktail.

We had leftovers too, Dale. Super quick and easy.

I finally completely crashed last night. One of those falls asleep before I put on my jammies nights. heehee I may need another cup of coffee this morning.

I had forgotten how exciting it is to be anticipating vape mail. I get my batteries delivered tomorrow and hopefully next week I will get my new tooter and atomizers. I even bought some premade coils. Am I getting lazy in my old age or what? I just wanted to try them. I read so much about Clapton coils. I watched a video on how to make them which I know I could do but this premade is exciting.

Every year I buy myself a divorce present. I know that sounds sort of silly and I suppose it is. My anniversaries were never special. I will never forget our last one. We took dad to eat BBQ but my ex had forgotten our anniversary and never said a thing.

I usually start shopping for it in September but I got impatient this year because I wanted a new tooter. I like this because I have plenty of time to find something else I want.

I hope everyone enjoys their day.

Oh geez……haha I guess I forgot about possible bad words being censored. Sorry about that ECF.

    Much better today, Dale
    Happy Vapeversary, Fran!!

Enjoy your mail, Rat2. I’m jealous of you being able to buy vape gear and have it shipped. Been awhile here in NY.
    Hey Sara :)
    Is the work day over?
Guess we’ll have bbq brisket sandwiches tonight, hopefully it’s good

Weather is having a hard time deciding what to do today. Back and forth from sunny to cloudy and now we’re getting light rain. I’ve had a headache most of the day

Ugg sorry about the weather headache, Dale. We have had rain and storms most of the day. Sun is trying to peek out and looks like they’ve cancelled the storm watch. Fingers crossed, poor Lucy got herself all worked up and now she’s limping. Of course today was a day she was home alone for longer than I would have liked her to be.

Yep, we usually get out at 4:45 and I’m home by 5. Kiddo had his last physical therapy appointment today. Everything is good with his knee. Woot!! They picked up Mighty Taco on the way home.

Most of the time y'all hear me complaining about never getting to go anywhere by myself. Today, I had to make dad go with me to the grocery store. He just sits out in the car but I thought it would do him good to get out of the house.

I shop a lot at Aldi's and today there was not a single white loaf of bread in the store. It looked like it does when they predict snow flurries here. I sure wish I did not remember the prices of the stuff I buy regularly. That way maybe I would not mind the increases.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Good evening lurkers

Time to start stocking up if you haven’t already. :grr: Shouldn’t be this way!

On a brighter note, off to kiddo’s second game of the season. Course, it’s decided to rain. Womp, womp
    On it! :thumb:
Ribeye steak, corn on the cob and baked potato wedges for supper tonight.

Good luck and have a good time !
