I received two other things that I ordered today. They came early but did not send me a notification. No problem cause I'm always home.

The glass cleaner will have to wait to be tried another day. It is too hot to be in the car trying to clean windows. I had to buy a new battery charger. I have used the same Nitecore since 2013 but it did not charge my 21700 batteries so I bought another Nitecore. You would not believe the difference between them. The old one is heavy and feels like a quality product. It also had an on and off switch which I like. The new one feels light and cheap and I have to unplug it when I am finished. I am sure it is an okay charger. Should have done more research on them instead of just buying the name I knew.

It was really hot walking tonight even though I waited till after the sun was going down. 90 degrees with 60% humidity is bearable but not the least bit pleasant.

I am so grateful that I have this little 7 inch fan. I used to clip it onto my treadmill. (the one my dad would not let me bring with me) Oh well, I might look at getting a bigger and better fan. Probably should wait until the hot season is over and get one on sale. Or could I get a better price now? You can tell I am not a professional shopper.

Good morning Dale and lurkers

He says he’s feeling the same. I feel bad for him. It’s a 3 hour test and they are expected to sit there the whole time. Fingers crossed some Dayquil helps him out.

Ugg I do not like 90s. We are already at 80 and it’s supposed to reach 85. My brain says to wait til end of season when the fan might be cheaper but I know I would want to get the one I wanted, now lol.

Hope you have a great day!! Thanks ladies, for the well wishes!

Good evening lurkers

Thanks everyone, he made it through. Fingers crossed he did well. Today was Algebra and he said it was hard, but he was able to use his tissues.

We have been under a tornado watch since 2:30ish this afternoon  goes until 11 tonight. So far so good but some nasty storms rolled through.

Leftover baked ziti for dinner.

Hope everyone had a nice day

Sara, so glad your son made it through although I know it was difficult. I am sure he did well regardless.

Joey, I hope your still the coolest dude I know.

Dale, nothin' better than a good book. Enjoy.

Seems like I have been running all day.

I had to go to the post office, then Samsclub. Got gas ($4.56 a gallon. no biggie, I have not filled up in a month). Checked the air in the tires and had to add some. Took my aunt to Food Lion. Got the garbage and recyclables up and out to the street. Took my aunt and dad to Smithfield's Chicken for supper. Came home and did my walking just so I could relax. Had thunderstorms and hard rain this afternoon so at least it was a little cooler walking and did not itch too bad. I can't remember if I told y'all I have poison oak in 3 places. Yay me. heehee

Amazon delivered dad's Father's Day wallet and of course, I went ahead and gave it to him. He did not thank me but when I asked if he liked it, he said it was better than his other one. I am going to take that as a win.

Hope y'all sleep well when you get there.

Bless your heart. I wish you would hear something about the other job. I am still keeping my fingers crossed for you. It is a shame your nights don't go by as quickly as mine. I am not sure where the days go. It is hard for me to believe this year is already half over. Sheesh! I wish I had never chuckled at older people when they talked about how fast time goes by.

I am glad that when you finally get home. . . it's cool. I hate being hot. A/C is pretty close to the top of my priorities.

I need to stop looking at my Amazon Wishlist. I ordered 3 more things tonight. We have been having a lot of thunderstorms so I got a surge protector and a pack of 3 multi-plug outlets. That was more of a "need". Now the Bluetooth earbuds were more of a "want".

I have some but they are not waterproof. I sweat a lot doing all the stuff I do outside and I can wear these in the shower.
singing-in-shower.gif
They were only $24.99 and had 4.5 stars out of 205,794 ratings. They must be pretty good. Don't you love the way I rationalize and justify? I am much better at doing that than I am saying "No" to people.

Good morning lurkers

Happy Fri-Yay!

Squeaky front door, angry husband and a 4 legged child who likes to take her time doing her business doesn’t make for good sleeping.

Dale, dinner sounds fabulous!! A good book does as well.

Hope the next 4 go by quickly for you, Joey :nun:

Rat2, sorry about the poison oak and the itchies. How long does a case usually last? You definitely had quite a busy day!

Oh those horrid hot days working for Jack in the heat and then the cold in winter with no heat ; I can still feel the misery of it all and feel badly for you.
