60…..will have been retired for 2 years by then. Hoping to live close to kiddo, with a pool and have some hobbies. Maybe work part time doing something I love. Not sure if I want grandkiddos or not. Times are so uncertain right now.

We kept kiddo home today as he was back to feeling crummy. I had a feeling he would overdo it yesterday. He seemed to be doing better this afternoon, nothing serious, just a lousy “summer” cold.
Did some cleaning and got pizza for dinner. Too cold/windy to swim so that was a bummer. Next weekend looks to be better. I leave early Wed for a dr appt and then have a 4 day weekend so I’m excited about that!

I hope dad had a nice Father's Day. I wished him one as soon as I saw him yesterday morning but he did not say anything. I would of been surprised if he had. I tried to buy his steak supper tonight but he said no. I cut his meat up for him and he ate everything on his plate. He was pretty sore after his last fall but he said he did not need any Tylenol tonight so that is good.
I don't know why I think I am WonderWoman. The problems I have had with my back lately and what do I do? I decide I have to flip my mattress when I was changing my sheets yesterday. It is only a queen size but difficult to do by yourself. I did it though. My back thinks I should have waited. heehee

I have been taking my iron so I hope I don't get rejected at the blood drive this afternoon. I have not given since 2020 because I kept getting turned down and then could not leave dad that long. Oh well, hopefully, today I will give my 154th pint.
I also tried to be a bone marrow donor but they are very strict and I was turned down because I have an autoimmune disease. I have Hashimoto's Disease. That always makes me start craving General Tso Chicken.
(with a side of lo mein and an egg roll, yum)
