Dropping in to say hello again (and so you won't forget me).

Things seem to be improving a tiny bit and I will take it. Dad has been having less confusion this week which is absolutely a blessing for me.

My aunt has said something about burning that big brush pile several times so I took dad down there yesterday and got him sitting comfortably under a tree in the shade. Probably not the best time to burn when it is in the 90s, but it is done and I will not have to hear any more about it. I told her for the third time that the tree that dropped those two big limbs needed to be cut down because the next big wind and another big one would fall. I even told her daughter that it needed to be taken care of. I hope I can stick by my guns and not get it up a third time. Knowing me, I know that will be hard.

I fixed salmon patties last night for supper. Something I have not fixed in a long time and they were so good. Tonight I crumble one over my salad and it was delicious.

We had rain yesterday evening and this evening also. I had a little over 3 inches in my rain gauge. Suppose to be a chance of evening thunderstorms the rest of the week. It feels like it.

I am going to try to take more time to get on here but it seems like when I get a free minute, I just want to sit in the quiet or walk and read.

Think of y'all often and hope you are having a great week.

    Hi Rat2
We’re not going to forget you! We love you
Glad to hear that your dad is doing some better :thumb:
    Stay out of those trees!

‘I love salmon patties but haven’t made any in years. Those little cans are expensive

You take care of your needs we’ll be here when you have time.

Time for me to say good night, y’all have a good one

    Good morning lurkers

I agree with Dale, stay out of those trees, Rat2 ;) Glad to hear there are some improvements with your dad!

Yeah, I bet you miss your baby girl, Joey. :( Glad you got some time to relax and a change of scenery for her was probably a good thing.

    Have a great day everyone!
