I am so sorry that y'all did not sleep well. I am used to it. I kept waking up myself. Probably because I am stressed over going downtown again.

I am looking forward to going to the church tonight to eat. They always have such good food. Country fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes tonight. Um, um, um.

Peaceful day to all!

Good evening lurkers

Yeah, I hate city driving anytime of the day. Heck I’m starting to hate all driving lolol. Especially once the sun sets and it’s dusk.

I’ve got too much on my mind to sleep well I think…..how the heck is Christmas next weekend? Tomorrow is my Friday. 4 day weekend coming up so hopefully I can bang a bunch of stuff out. Baking, wrapping, cleaning, errands.

Yum, Rat2. Hope everything is enjoyable tonight, especially the company ;)
Kiddo has soccer tonight, DH is picking up takeout from this awesome restaurant. They make several different kinds of mac and cheese. I’m getting Philly Cheesesteak mac and cheese. Leftovers for dinner tomorrow night.

    Good morning lurkers

Feeling better. :) I slept so hard for the first couple of hours that when I woke up around 10:30 pm, I was for sure the alarm was about to go off. Was shocked at the time. Lol

Hope everyone has a good day!!
    Good morning Sara

Yep, super excited for 4 days off. Breakfast is a winning dinner. We had leftovers from last night because Dh was at a work party. Tomorrow night I’m making meatloaf and we have a roast thawing for Saturday.

Whelp, still have to get up tomorrow at 5:30 (kiddo has school) so I’m gonna call it a night. Sweet dreams

    Good morning Dale

Ooof, that’s too cold for me. We are at 37.

Ran a few errands and now I’m digging through the cupboards to find my ingredients for cookies. I’m hoping to get some done this “morning” and finish with kiddo’s help this afternoon. Lemon sugar cookies (Dh’s fave), the not so festive but much loved Chocolate Chip (for Christmas at my Grandpa’s on Sunday), haystacks and pb blossoms for kiddo/me. Those are what I’m hoping he will help with. Only making one batch of each, since we definitely don’t need them in the house. But traditions.

Ooo! Wish I lived next door I’d help eat them :w00t:  I might make some peanut butter cookies dipped in chocolate if I have the time closer to Christmas but not planning much in the dessert department. The kids were told to bring something but who knows if they will or what.

I’d love to share with you, Dale :)

Well, all the best laid plans of mice and men…..it took me pulling everything out of the cupboard to find the lemon extract. Just finished packing up the sugar cookies and choc chip. Needless to say meatloaf was put on hold. We will have that tomorrow and the roast was pushed to Monday. Happy to report my spice/baking cupboard is clean and organized and all of my laundry is done. :thumb: We had plenty of leftovers in the fridge so the boys didn’t starve.

I am whooped and we are supposed to do the gingerbread kit tonight (Advent activity). Guessing that will happen tomorrow morning as I’m ready for bed.

I know it sounds like a lot but normally it’s not. Sweet dreams
