Good evening lurkers

I think we are going to need a pic of all your phone cases, Rat2  Hope your dinner was delicious.

I’m with you Dale, I gained everything I lost and then some  Good luck with the disposables, you can do it!! But yeah, I was thinking to myself the other day that I’m starting to feel done with this. I dread making juice, I put it off til the last possible moment and it’s not even flavored. Tired of the aio, always leaking. Can’t seem to drop lower in nic because I feel like I’m vaping water/glycerin and it tastes nasty with no flavoring. Find myself coughing more if I do go lower. Blah!

Congrats, Joey on quitting   I’m sorry you are looking at surgery. Hopefully it’s a quick recovery and then you feel good as new.

SMT, thanks for the heads up on both issues. I’ll admit I pretty much stick to the lurkers thread. Hope all is well with you :)

Co worker lent me her copy of Where The Crawdads Sing, so I’m gonna sign off and do some reading. Sweet dreams when you all go

Good morning Sara, Dale and lurkers

Thing with vaping for me became a hassle after Sue died and I asked the girls to move when they were not helping me with things around the house. I just did not have time to maintain my equipment or mix liquid working 12 hours a day. Now I have time to do those things I just need to get back into it. To get back into vaping again I needed something really simple, disposables came to mind. I bought a couple locally and yes they are expensive!!! I started poking around the web and found a nice sale at ecigmafia.com bogo free. Dale see if they ship to you, if not let me know. I bought monster bars brands strawberry custard and smooth tobacco. Smooth tobacco is not in the bogo but it is only $8 each. Hopefully the links work :)

Good morning Sara, Dale, Joey

Vapes. Since 2012 I've been using RBA's and making my own juices. I hated retail juices. For me, they used too much flavoring and were way too sweet. I love mixing and am always creating new juice recipes. I post recipes of mine on ECF all the time. For me, mixing is no different than baking.

I don't know, but maybe here's an idea... mix up a large batch of unflavored, distribute that into smaller bottles, buy some flavors you enjoy, then add a few drops to one of the smaller bottles of unflavored. At least that would give you something more, ummm, tasty to vape.

If you ever feel like mixing juice recipes maybe have a look at Zazie's Blog. She added just about every recipe from Frannie's Random DIY mixing and More thread to her blog. The vast majority of recipes were created by ECF members. Recipes are posted in Frannie's thread weekly and are then added to Zazie's Blog.

    Hiya SMT :)

Thanks for the tips :) I am still not fully unpacked from moving last year, most of my gear is still packed in boxes. The 2 step kids I asked to move out, they were suppose to help with my daughter and the house work but it wasn’t working. My work schedule was harsh 12 hour nights changed after thanksgiving to 8 hour shifts and weekends off. Between my wife passing away 2 years ago the work schedule I had and buying a house last year I was just run down.

I’m starting to get my home life back and in order. I dislike like retail juice and nic salts, I just needed a quick fix to get me off cigarettes again. I had stopped vaping completely last year, the disposables are working for me right now which I’m happy about. I have a spare room which needs some work, once that is done it will be a craft room with a spot for my vape gear and flavors so I can get back into mixing and taking care of rda’s. I have enough gear, nic and flavors to hold me over for a long time, probably never use most of it lol

I will check zazies blog again and pop into Fran’s thread soon. It has been quite awhile since I have been over there :)

Thanks for the info SMT :)

    Thank goodness tomorrow is Fri-Yay!!

Dh had a meeting, so it was just kiddo and I for dinner. Tossed some of my frozen homemade meatballs in sauce and made meatball parm sandwiches. Salad for the veggie. Quick and easy cleanup :thumb:

Good morning, afternoon and evening. heehee

Had a tasty dinner last night at the church, Pork roast, taters, gravy, yeast rolls, and the best-baked apples I think I ever put in my mouth. Of course, I could not turn down the yellow cake with chocolate icing.

After supper we visited his sister and bro-in-law. I just love going over there. Such good people and so funny. It was a nice night for "two friends" to go out.

Was researching my new contacts since I am so impressed with them and I called the eye doctor to confirm that they were the extended wear. She said yes just take them out one time a week for a night. I was hoping I would need to use the bathroom through the night because I have never been able to see my way without my glasses. I did not have to go. Darn.

Well, anyway when I awaken this morning I reached for my tooter first (as I always do), unplugged my phone from the charging cable (that's always second), and then felt around for my glasses. I couldn't find them. Felt all around. Turned upside down, buck naked off the side of the bed thinking they had fallen off somehow. After feeling around for a while, it was then that I remembered I slept in my contacts for the first time. So my day started off with a senior moment and a chuckle. These contacts really are wonderful and I still have not had to use my readers.

Terry is coming over tomorrow night for dinner and a movie. I said something about wanting to see the new Top Gun movie at his sister's last night because my cousin and her friend told me it was better than the first one. I really do not remember so much about the first one other than there was really good music and Goose died. Oh well, we will see. I am looking forward to movie night.

Ex-bro-in-law recommended a show called All Creatures Great and Small. I started it and have been enjoying it. I think there are 3 Seasons. IMDb gave it an 8.6 rating and I definitely agree with them.

    Happy Fri-Yay lurkers

Fried potatoes, yum!! Friday sure did roll in and it brought snow. Quite a bit, actually. I was hoping those meteorologists would be wrong. Nope.

Love my extended wear contacts!! It’s so nice to be able to see 24/7. Rat2, what brand are they? Because gosh darn it, I’m back to the readers after a couple weeks of not needing them. Your dinner sounded fabulous and I hope you enjoy movie night!!

    Have a great day!

I am excited about Friday too this week. Usually, it is just another day for me. One that comes around faster and faster it seems.

Lost one of the greatest guitarists this week. Jeff Beck was amazing. Now it is sad to hear of Lisa Marie Pressley's passing. 54 is just a baby. Since heart issues run in my family, I am going to try to keep this weight (actually I want to lose 10 more lbs) and keep walking. It surely cannot hurt.

The aroma of two pounds of pintos in the crockpot has the house smelling pretty good this morning. I gave Terry some around 20 years ago and he mentioned the other night that they were the best he had ever eaten. Nobody can mess up pintos if they put enough country ham, chili pepper, and sugar in them.

I hope he likes them and he is safely at home when they take effect.

What's happening with everyone this weekend? I hope it is exciting for everyone or just relaxing if that is what is needed. heehee

I don't really have that many because I wear mostly black, flamingo pink and leopard. I am going to try to add some color to my life. I took a pic just like I did the other drawer (two times) and it says the file is to large to download. Go figure. I only have 6 cases so it is not as impressive as the readers drawer. You don't even want to see my hair accessories. It is the entire other bathroom. I call that my salon. heehee Six drawers and two cabinets full of hair stuff. Sort of weird since I have lost 50% of my hair. Soon I may get rid of it all and just have wig stands. But I will have a good collection of those too.

Well, I would appreciate it immensely if you would keep it where you are. heehee
    what brand are they?
Bausch & Lomb Ultra, multifocal for astigmatism

Do you wear your contacts every night? It's hard to believe that it would be good just to take them out one night a week but that is what they said. I remembered this morning and did not search for my glasses. I absolutely love waking up and being able to see the clock on the side table. heehee
