In your nightmares
Good morning Rat2 and Joey
Wasn’t that sad about Lisa Marie? So young :(

‘I hope nothing happens around here Rat2

That seems really weird Joey  Drop my part if it helps.
Nah I got it all ordered, their site was messing up. I called them up this morning, I had to place 3 orders altogether, they refunded all shipping charges. Great customer service their :)

‘’Just finished supper, bbq beef from a slow roasted sirloin tip . DH made a sandwich, I topped off a salad with my serving. Still have a bunch, some I’ll freeze and some will be eaten this weekend I’m sure.

    Good evening all
Bausch & Lomb Ultra, multifocal for astigmatism

Do you wear your contacts every night? It's hard to believe that it would be good just to take them out one night a week but that is what they said. I remembered this morning and did not search for my glasses. I absolutely love waking up and being able to see the clock on the side table. heehee
I do, Air Optics Night & Day, approved for 30 days extended wear. But I do take them out at least 2x a month on a Friday and put them back in either Sun/Mon so they can get a good soak and my eyes can rest. They aren’t multifocal and I also have astigmatism. I started with weekly’s and it would take too long every morning to put them in so my dr, at the time, recommended these. It’s also great to not be blind in the shower :lol::lol:

Glad you were able to get the order done, Joey and free shipping  A slow night sounds amazing!!

Enjoy your peaceful weekend, SMT! Those are the best kinds.

Mmm, BBQ Beef, Dale. I’m jealous. We had grilled cheese and tomato soup. Exactly what our crummy weather ordered. Lol. It will melt next week.

It made for a beautiful picture. But I don’t like driving in it.
Oh I don’t either, it takes a lot for me to go out in it. And since my accident I have anxiety anytime I drive.

‘’Have a good night Sara, I have a series to finish tonight ;)

So that's why I did not need any bandaids when I shaved my legs for the church dinner.

I was pretty pleased with how supper turned out. It is so lovely to cook for someone who thanks you. He even sent another text thanking me before he went to bed.

Dinner was Buffalo Dip with chips and a shrimp cocktail for the appetizers, baby back ribs, pintos/onions, air-fried brussels sprouts (they were awesome), mash potatoes, slaw, cornbread and of course, sweet tea. I did not make desert because he said he was not much of a sweets guy but he brought powdered donuts and I had not had those in forever. They were wonderful.

I had popcorn that we did not eat but I am sure the fox is out there enjoying it. I had HotTamales and Junior Mints for the movie also. We ate the HotTamales and I froze the Junior Mints for later. heehee We watch Top Gun Maverick and it was good but I still think I liked the first one better.

Halfway through the movie, I went and got my My Pillow and Terry got rather comfy for the rest of the movie. It was nice and I enjoyed it. I think we will be doing movie time again real soon.

I think this "friend" thing is rather nice. I don't think it is going to go much further but that's okay. We have been friends for so long and now we are really good friends. heehee He asked me if I would like to go to a boat show in Raleigh Sunday (it's only an hour away). Of course, I said yes. It will be very educational going with someone that has had a boat all his life. I really did enjoy that day on his boat. I couldn't fish but I sure did enjoy reading out there. Very relaxing.

Well, that was my big night. Thank you again for letting me share my new adventures with you.

    Good morning lurkers

I can imagine, Dale. Accidents are scary. I’ve been a passenger in one close call and a fender bender. Knock on wood it stays that way. I will be extremely happy for the end of Spring/beginning of summer. ;)

Rat2, your dinner sounds fabulous!! As long as you are enjoying each other’s company, that’s all that matters. It’s so nice to have someone to do and share things with. :) I love that you had “movie snacks” for the movie. Hahha yes, they do make shaving easier

Busy day, got my list of things to do. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Good morning Dale, Sara, R2 and lurkers

Going to try to take down the tree this weekend, today taking my daughter to get her hair done. Going to be an expensive day  Dinner tonight I have thawed strip steaks, peppers, onions, corn and maybe fried potatoes.

Just out of curiosity does anyone have a fitbit they are not using to sell maybe?? Hit me with a pm if anyone does I need to buy to track my steps :)

    Hiya Dale

Fitbit, apple watch track how many steps/miles you walk. I'm trying to get some money back from my health coverage through a reward program from work. I just don't want to spend half of the reward money buying one new.
