    Good evening lurkers

Hope you got your nap, Dale. I definitely could have used a nap. Very moody I was. Pizza for dinner because I don't feel like doing much of anything. LOL!!

Hope you are doing ok at work, Joey. Are there any kinds of stretches that help?
    Good evening Sara
No nap but I’m certainly feeling the effects of my short night. Did I mention it was 11:30 before I went to bed? Then woke up a little before 3:30

Been there done that..and certainly wouldn't wish that upon anyone. Hopefully you sleep well tonight. I am. Planning on unplugging and picking up a paper book in a few and then going to bed on time. Course I'm sure I sabotaged myself with the can of pepsi I had with my pizza

Hope everyone has a good night!

‘I know you said you were feeling better but we don’t want a set back.

‘The weather is interfering with our mail :glare:
Yeah I know I just wish my back would start healing a little faster.

    Hope you sleep better :)

It was a good day even though we had rain and no sun. Had a good workout and then grocery shopping at Aldi's. Ended up having to go to Lidl's tonight because I forgot to get onions (even though it was on my list).

Terry said he would bring something but I told him I was going to cook. He said that was fine if I wanted to but to give him the receipt so he could pay for it. He is so old school. It really is nice though. You don't see much of that these days.

I decided to make a meatloaf for supper tomorrow. I haven't made one in a while and my aunt says it is really good. Terry is not a picky eater so I am not worried about that at all.

Enjoyed the supper and then we went to visit his sister and hubby. I love going down there. Sharon got out her banjo and played a song. She used to play what I considered professionally but with the RA she plays slower and has a hard time keeping the picks on her fingers because they are bent. But it sounded wonderful and was so good to hear her.
Almost made me want to buy a banjo and give it a try. Maybe one day when I have more time. I still play every week on the guitar and more often on the uke. I was going to learn the piano next but have not really had a chance since dad passed. I have an unknitted glove started sitting right beside me that has been there a long time. Well, when I slow down, I'll have lots to keep me entertained.

    Good morning Sara
    I slept from a little after 8 until 5:30

That’s some brutal cold you’re looking at  We’re warming up a little every day, today’s high is supposed to be 43 but this coming Monday’s high is forecasted to be 67:rolleyes:

Hope you have a wonderful day that passes swiftly!

I must have been tired because I went to sleep faster than usual and I stayed in bed for 5 hours, which is great for me. I am going to be at the gym when they open at 9 so I can get home and get everything prepped for tonight. I am looking forward to it also. I do, however, have the desire to do more fun stuff. Seems like the last several weeks it has been very predictable. Maybe when warmer weather gets here, there will be more to do. Maybe? If not, this train going to keep on rollin'.

Hope everyone has a great day and yes, it is Fri-Yay. I just love that, Sara! Who's got some exciting plans for the weekend? I'm not nosy, I'm inquisitive.

Had a good workout and came home and got busy getting my vittles ready. (I sound like Granny on the Clampett's)

Remember when I told y'all I bought a mandoline slicer? Well, something funny happened today as I was cutting up my onions and peppers, I found out why you should always use the little tool that slides your veggie across the blade. Ouch! Yes, I sliced a sliver off of my pinkie finger.

That's not the funny part. The funny part is I was putting my meatloaf in the fridge and I noticed I was no longer wearing a bandaid on my pinkie. I look everywhere. I backtracked all over the house to everywhere I could think of that I had been. Still no bandaid. I was getting ready to re-mix my meatloaf because I figured that was the only place I had not looked. Wouldn't it be awful to try to impress a man with your culinary skills and serve him a delicious piece of meatloaf and he takes a bite and he pulls out a dirty bandaid? Sheesh!

Everything ended up okay and I chuckled my .... off because I was going to wash my hands before I looked for it and I found the dang bandaid in the kitchen sink. Whew! Don't you love happy endings to my stories?

Off to dry my hair. I love Friday nights because I wear comfy clothes, a sports bra, and no makeup or sparkles on my chest. It is awesome. I told Terry why I liked it and he said he couldn't tell any difference because I always looked nice. Doesn't that make you want to go "Awwww?" (or maybe throw up a little in your mouth)

Oh well, I hope dinner turns out well. I'm sure I'll give y'all an update tonight. heehee Bless your hearts. I am so glad you put up with me.

Woooot!! The weekend has arrived!

I would love 67 degrees, Dale. but I do know the grass is never greener on the other side. Glad you got a good nights sleep. That goes for you too, Rat2. At least you stayed in bed a little longer. ;)

It was and still is mighty cold out there. I had to run my car for a little bit so I didn't freeze to death on lunch. Currently 8 with a real feel of -19. It's extremely windy.

Get you a kevlar glove....think that's what they are on amazon or a home goods store for when you are using the mandolin. Save your skin and band aids. Might be time to express your feelings a bit more so the train don't leave the station!

Love me some meatloaf! We are having chicken and steak quesadillas for dinner. I'm just gonna finish up my adult bevvie first. Plans for this weekend include a soccer game tomorrow night at 8:45  and we celebrate my stepdad's birthday, Sunday. going to a new mexican restaurant close by. His choice.
