Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I can't believe I have not been on ECF in so long but have been quite busy.

I had a wonderful weekend but had a real oinkfest. heehee But it was fun. Met a nice 57-year-old man when I went to check out a live band. He ended up feeding me supper and the next day we went to Cracker Barrell and then Rio Grand for Mexican. Then Terry's sister called and I went to eat with them Wednesday. A real enjoyable oinkfest. New thyroid meds must be doing something because I still lose 4 more pounds. Only thing I can figure out unless my extra walking is doing something.

Then the lawyer called and gave me some stuff to do. I honestly thought that was why I hired them.

Then I got a letter from IRS about Dad and that they needed some stuff too. Grrrr

Water is draining slowly and I was told maybe I need to have my septic tank pumped out. Going to call on that when I get a chance. It has not been done since 2018. Just one more thing to think about.

It is also time to cut the darn grass again and I am NOT looking forward to that. It is supposed to rain Friday so I can't really procrastinate. I'll get it done, I'm sure.

He was just a nice man and I had a nice time. He lives in Florida. He is still calling and texting me though. He says he will see me again but I am not going to hold my breath. It was just nice to get out and do something fun like real people.

The band was not very good IMO but there were two waitresses there that I knew and they sat with us and we cut up. That was nice too. I bought a cheap beer because that was the right thing to do but I poured out what was left when I left. I did like the fact that I saw more people vaping than I did smoking. I had never seen that.

After 18 years, I’m having a hard time holding my p’s & q’s. Another one was harassing me for wearing my mask. To the point I was like please stop, you’re starting to upset me. People seem really bothered by it I am not vaccinated nor do I plan to be. Work is the only place I still wear it because it helps with anonymity, it hides my RBF(resting B face) and the vents in the ceiling are absolutely disgusting.

Hahaha I wish we didn’t have septic.

French toast and fruit salad for dinner. It was quick and we used up things that were on the verge of going bad.

Well it was another one of those days for me. I did not make my 10,000 steps. I did not even go to the gym. I tried to walk in the driveway holding the umbrella but with the wind, I just could not and to tell the truth, I did not feel like it.

I did get the paperwork for the lawyer faxed. $24 to fax it and she said it would not be much. Sheesh! I am still agitated that I went to a lawyer so I would not have to think about it anymore.

Went to the dollar store (The Dollar Twenty-Five Store) and only bought 1 item. That has never happened before. I saw some cocktail mixing sticks that ere in the shape of a Flamingo so of course, I had to get those. Not that I drink cocktails but I thought they would look cute sticking in my plants on my back porch get-a-way. And they do.

No mowing today because it never dried off and it started raining before lunch and is still raining. That grass is going to be a pain when this rain spell dries up. Oh well, you do whatcha have to do.

I was good tonight and ate a salad. I really wanted something warm since it has been so damp but I was afraid the lettuce would be too brown to eat by tomorrow night and I hate to waste anything. It was good but warm would have felt better. Like my shower tonight. I feel so much better under hot water when I am like this. I just wish it would last when I get out.

I agree, Dale. I don’t bother anyone about their choices so they should respect mine. Ohhh yeahhhh it hides those pesky hairs when they pop out

I’ve been like that since, Easter, Rat2. Sad to say I haven’t hit 10,000 in awhile. Hope it dries out for you!

Been raining again. I was cold all afternoon so I mixed up a bowl of rice, cream of chicken soup, and a can of stewed squash and Vidalia onions. I also put in some Frank's Hot Chicken wing sauce to give it a little kick. I just wanted something warm since I was cold.

Other than making a gallon of tea, it's been rather quiet here. That's okay with me. Tomorrow night is a girl's night out. My aunt, cousin, and two of her friends are going to Rio Grande. It is the same Mexican restaurant Dan took me to last weekend. It is really good so I don't mind eating there again. We haven't had a girl's night in a long time. It will be fun. Probably not as much fun as I had last weekend. heehee I will say Dan is still calling and texting. He seems to be a really sweet guy. I just don't think I want a long-distance relationship and I think he does.

I have not turned on the tv since last Sunday when Dan and I watch a movie. It has been rather nice just listening to music at night.

Nothing as steady as it was last night but it’s been off and on all day. Perfect day to make meatballs for the freezer. I’ll set some aside to go with spaghetti for dinner.

It’s been a very quiet day here, I like it that way

We split a ribeye with a spinach quiche tonight.

I was at the gym at 8 this morning. The gym does not open until 9 on Saturdays. That's okay. I walked outside even though it was just a tad chilly and dampish. By the time the gym opened, I already had my 10,000 steps so I was going to do just the machines. Nope. It didn't feel good so I stopped. Guess it was the damp joints. Go figure.

When to my favorite thrift store and was really good. Did not find anything I wanted to buy. There was a new bargain store on the other end so I walked down there to check it out. OMG. It was just rows and rows of troughs piled high with stuff and fifty-eleven people digging through all of it. I am surprised I did not leave a trail of smoke because I got out of there as fast as I could. Maybe if there had not been so many people digging I could have stayed. Not sure and probably will not find out.

Went to the same Mexican restaurant that I went to last weekend. In fact, I had the same waiter. There were supposed to be 6 but only 5 showed up. Enjoyed it so much. After supper, Gail, my cousin, invited us over because she had a box of donuts. So of course, so as not to be rude

, I ate a chocolate covered with cream filling. It was delicious.

It was a wonderful Saturday night. Stayed on the phone until 3 this morning talking to my friend. A man that likes to talk as much as I do. Who would of thunk it?

It is pouring rain now and is supposed to rain all day. I may take a day off from walking and just stay in bed all day. After my coffee of course.
