Good evening Dale and Joey

Your dinners sounded great. Kiddo had soccer practice so we had eggs and bacon. I also had some blueberries and blackberries.

Did some light cleaning and laundry instead of a second round on the treadmill and now I’m ready to put my feet up and catch up on some shows I have recorded.

Sorry pt was rough tonight, Joey. :(

Sweet dreams everyone

I have only had one UTI in my life until this week. Yay me. It wasn't much fun to go to the doctor when I had insurance. I enjoyed it even less with no insurance. Oh well, gotta do watch gotta do.

I have been taking it easy for 2 days and it just feels weird. I miss walking but my knee seems to be enjoying the rest. I am not sure walking is as healthy as I thought.

Had the septic tank pumped this morning (it had been 5 years). My appointment was at 8 and he called my cell phone at 7:15 and said he was in the driveway. I had not even had my coffee but at least I was dressed.

Dad has used the same man for as long as I can remember so I called him too. He is a very nice man and they are quite a religious family. I am just not so sure I would put "Jesus Saves" on my truck if I was him. When he found out that Dad had passed we talked about maintenance on the house. He gave a referral for a plumber, electrician, and a well man. I thought that was quite nice of him and I really appreciated it.
Maybe tomorrow I will feel better and will not be running a low-grade fever.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. And. . .

    It's Sara Fri-YAY!

    Thanks, Dale :)

BLT’s for dinner. Work was crazy busy and I’m whooped.

Hope everyone had a fabulous day!
    Good evening Sara
I had a salad and DH had leftover Chinese.

I would imagine Friday’s would be busy.

Happy to say the two antibiotics she gave me are finally making me feel better and I have not run any fever today.

I passed on the gym but it was such a beautiful day, I had to get out and walk. I ended up getting over 16,000 steps. It could stay like today 360 days a year. Snow the other 5.

My friend Cindy came over again today to futz with the printer. She brought me some fried rice that she had made and it was so good. Had lots of chicken in it. I air-fried some fresh green beans and I will be doing that again too. She brought a little bundt cake with cream cheese frosting. It looked like a huge cupcake and I ate every bite of it. I am sitting here wondering why I ate so much. I have been hungry all week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

    ‘Your meal sounds great :thumb:
Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I only put olive oil and garlic powder on the beans and cut up an onion with it. I am sure I can find some recipes for them. I still want to try to make those DillyBeans. Those were so tasty.

    Hope you sleep well.

    Good morning lurkers

So happy to hear you are feeling better Rat2. I would over the moon to reach 16k. But I will take the 10+ that I got 4 days this week and one day I was over 11.

I love fried rice!! Prefer vegetable from takeout chinese or chicken when I make it at home.

Woke up to sunshine! About to go have some breakfast and start cleaning. Have a great day everyone!

Ooof Dale, while the temp sounds great the mugginess does not. :( Hope you had a good day with Kalli.

Dh made the first cheeseburgers of the grilling season tonight. we also had grilled asparagus and pasta salad for dinner. Mmm.

Hope everyone had a great day!
    Good evening Sara
Have to say I dislike the temperature and the mugginess ;)

Glad you had such a satisfactory meal, we had burgers from McDonald’s
    Your asparagus sounds especially good!

Kalli was very good this morning and I did enjoy our time together.

Good morning Dale. Thanks for the scrumptious breakfast! Wise quote!

I know you don’t enjoy the hot weather. :( It’s just so cold around here for what feels like so long. Lol

Do you have a smart phone? If you do, you can download the McDonald’s app and save money. I know you probably don’t eat there as often as we do. It used to cost us $50+ for “4” people(teenage boy eats as much as 2 lol) and now we spend less than half that and he’s full after.

Warmer than yesterday but not at much sun. I’ll take it! Hope everyone has a great day!!

I stuck around the house yesterday and did some much-needed chores. Slept better last night. Coulda been the clean sheets.

The sun is out and reminding me that I did not do such a great job on the window washing. heehee Already 62 here and supposed to get up to 81. Not sure where my cousin wants to go eat tonight. I'm not picky. I'll eat just about anything and be happy as can be.

I had more fresh green beans so I air-fried some more last night. They were even better. I added a can of mushrooms and more onions. You can never have too many onions. They make anything better for me. Added an easy salad to it and called it supper.

I have been eating yogurt because I think it is good for you. Since I have been taking the antibiotics, I bought some Greek because they say that is better. It seems a bit chalky to me but I can eat it if I add a bag of Splenda to it. I will probably buy some more but only because it is 2 cents cheaper.

Since I finally got my printing done with Dad's old laptop, I am going to try to get the stuff up for my lawyer. She sent me 9 pdf's to print out. When they finally add up my bill, I should give them mine!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Thanks to Dale, mine started out with a happy heart.
