    Good evening Dale

Busy day, just now sitting down. We had our own ;) cheeseburgers, salad and I reheated leftover smashed potatoes that Dh had made. Much healthier than last night lol

Hope you had a good day!
My day was okay, hopefully yours was too :)

We had tuna fish sandwiches. Not sure how healthy it was but it was good.

I just got out of the shower. Whew, did it feel fabulous. After supper which was only wild rice in my cream of chicken soup, I decided since it was cool I would do all the trim work tonight and do the riding part tomorrow when it is going to be much hotter. I took me two hours to do that and the edging but it's done for another week and I am elated that it is over and done. The riding will not take long at all. Wish I could walk 13 miles an hour.

We sound like twinsies…..which knee is bothering you?
Right now it is my right. Several years ago it was my left and I had to stop walking for 8 months while it healed. It was awful. Then my right knee started hurting so bad that the left one felt better.

I worked on the estate this morning. Went to the bank that is right up the road to get 2 papers notarized. Their notary was not going to be there for a few days. I asked where the next closest Carter Bank was and had to GPS myself over there. The branch manager said he could not notorize public records regarding an estate. I told him I was a Notary for thirty some years and it did not matter what the paper said because his job was only to make sure it was me signing it in his presence. Grrrr He asked me where the Estate account was and I nicely told him at his bank for the time being but it could change at any moment. He left the office and came back in a notarized my two documents. It is not wise to irritate a woman who has a UTI and did not sleep well.

Then the GPS woman took me around in circles 3 times trying to direct me to the post office so I could mail those papers to my attorney. I finally found a road that I was vaguely familiar with and I took the scenic route home without her guidance.

I called AT&T yesterday about the line running through my yard that they have never buried. She said there was no ticket to have it done but she would have someone out here today. He did show up but only to mark where he wants to put the line. Grrrr Said he would make a ticket and it would be done in 3-4 weeks. Not much I can do about that but that is poor communication and customer service. He was nice though so I was nice.

Just seems like nothing is easy for me lately but I know that is life. I just do what I can and keep on going. I am positive that things could always be worse.

Sleep well Lurkers and have a wonderful Wednesday.

    Good morning lurkers

Well….we made it to hump day!

It was okay, Dale. But it could be so much better if I was retired :lol::lol: Hate to sound like I am wishing my life away. Tuna is healthy! Good source of protein and omega 3’s.

Ugh, that bank manager sounded like a real jerk. Glad you called him out, Rat2. We have a notary in our office that is the same way. Why take the test and pay the money if you don’t want to notarize things. She does, because she is not allowed to refuse but she’s always so grumpy when I ask her to (customer’s documents, not mine)

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

I am not sure why I kept mine for so long. I guess so I could help out my friends if they needed something notarized. It was not cheap. Again something the state takes advantage of for the revenue. I could no longer justify the cost. The only time I refused was my bank manager would ask me to without the person there to sign in front of me. There is a way you can do that but I did not feel comfortable doing it and I personally would refuse. She would get pretty upset with me but it did not bother me one iota.

I don’t generally sleep well once it gets hot.
I have issues sleeping no matter what the weather is but I prefer a chilly, dark slumber spot. Wonder if that new pillow that the MyPillow man touts keeps you cool as the commercial says? But it might!

I woke up several times during the night. I used the rest room and my stomach was growling like I had not eaten for days. So I ate a piece of cheese and a handful of oyster crackers and went back to sleep pretty well. Cheese. Omgosh. I love cheese. I think if I had to choose between a brownie and a piece of cheese, the brownie would lose. But it would have to be an awfully substantial hunk of cheese. heehee Oh let's be honest. . . I'd eat both!

    Happy halfway to Fri-YAY.

    Good evening lurkers

Waiting for dinner to come out of the oven. Dh made peppers again.

Ohh I would definitely refuse if the person wasn’t in front of me. But where I work, they are always there. She just doesn’t like to be bothered

Hmmmmm nope. While I love cheese also, it could never trump brownies

We got a my pillow once before all the smarmy-ness was made known. They are craptastic pillows. Not surprised at all, now.

    Whelp dinner’s done!!

I like cheese in casseroles and such but not to eat plain or on a sandwich.

Ouch, sorry you went through the expense and discovered it wasn‘t worth it :(

    Good morning Sara

Well, I love a rainy night
    I love a rainy night
I love to hear the thunder
Watch the lightnin' when it lights up the skies
You know it makes me feel good
Well, I love a rainy night
    It's such a beautiful sight
I love to feel the rain on my face
Taste the rain on my lips
    In the moonlight shadows
Showers wash all of my cares away
I wake up to a sunny day
'Cause I love a rainy night
Yeah, I love a rainy night
Well, I love a rainy night
Well, I love a rainy night
    Ooh, ooh

Good morning Sara, Dale and lurkers

Have pt in a little bit, my elbow is feeling good so far. Need to get the muscles stronger. Hoping I can go back to work next week.
    That’s great news, Joey.
