Good morning lurkers

It’s definitely rough and some of the teams and their parents are obnoxious. But I do love watching him play and will be sad when it’s over. We have maybe 2-3 more years and time sure is flying.

Chinese sounds amazing. We haven’t had that in awhile. Is Paco still doing good, Dale?

Chicken sandwich and hard boiled eggs sounds good to me! Especially when it’s hot and I don’t want to cook. I’m glad Dan’s pup is doing well. Fingers crossed you’ll get to see him. Dan not the pup ;) You definitely have to keep the cast iron, that is an awesome find!!

Have a great day everyone!

Definitely keep the cast iron rat2!

First time I’ve been able to connect this morning , wish Wildblue would get their act together! :grr:

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Dh doesn’t care for cream of anything soups either. Kiddo on the other hand loves when I make tuna noodle casserole or hamburger stroganoff. What did you end up making, Fran?

We had sausage sandwiches and roasted sweet potatoes.

It was rainy all day yesterday and more of the same today. My first “stay cation” of the summer. :glare: That’s ok, I guess. I cleaned out the pantry. It was quite the mess. Today I will tackle the laundry room.

Hope everyone has a great day!!

    Spectrum is horrible for internet.

    Spectrum is horrible, period.

Amazingly enough, I found AT&T fiber to be the best service I've ever had. Wish I could get it where I'm at now, though. I miss those gigabit speeds. **sigh**

    Good afternoon Dale and retired1,

Ooh I never thought of that….maybe Fran just had soup. Yeah, I don’t eat them plain, always cook with them. But I do prefer homemade creamy soups vs broth based.

Unfortunately where we are (end of the line, they always say) Spectrum was supposed to be faster than what we had previously, Verizon DSL. It also doesn’t help that we are internet for tv too. We are thinking about switching that back to satellite though. It’s currently Roku through Spectrum.

    Good morning retired :)
Wish I could convince DH to change servers.

I paid $60 per month for AT&Ts gigabit service. No cable channels. Just get the streaming service you want to get. If you positively MUST have TV, look into GoogleTV. If I recall, it was around $60 per month for a whole lot of channels. So, at $120 a month, it's still a LOT cheaper than paying for cable TV channels through Spectrum, AT&T, etc. In my case, it was half the price of getting everything through AT&T or Spectrum.

We’ll definitely look into it. Thank you!

Unfortunately, AT&Ts fiber service is somewhat limited, and if you're anywhere outside a large city, you're most likely out of luck in being able to get it. I know they're laying fiber like mad in most cities, but small towns and rural areas are most likely going to be ignored.
