Well I hope they all recover well, and quickly. But it sounds like you're doing well, I hope it continues. I wanna say c'ya R2c2, but I'll just say c'ya T ;)
I hope they will be fine also. His dad is 89 but he seemed to have a very mild case and did not feel very bad.

I have been busy lately.

Good to hear from you. You can be strange but just don't be a stranger. Come on back anytime.

Have the grand kiddos gone back to school yet? They seem to go back early now. When I was in school (100 years ago) we never went back until after labor day in Sept.

Hugs to you.

Good morning Rat2 and Dale when you get here

Dale, no wonder I liked the nectarines….I love peaches. How is your dad doing? How is work…getting any easier?

Wow you’ve been busy, Rat2!! That is a great thing! I definitely agree with trips to the doctor. Despite being healthy (that’s what he says, anyway) I always manage to leave with a handful of referrals for specialists that he insists I see. :?: Um hello, you aren’t the only Dr I see annually. I only get so medicals and I do have a child that also has annuals that I have to take him to.

Day 2 of soccer tryouts. Things sound like they are going well, so that’s good news. After, we are going to a favorite Italian restaurant for lunch. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Good morning Rat2 and Sara

What a terrible homecoming for you Rat2 :( Sorry you had to spend the day working so hard.

Sara dad is about the same, as for me I haven’t been back to work since that one week so my back has been fine. DH told me yesterday that Randy wants me back next week. We’ll see how it goes but I’m not holding out much hope for any improvement.

Well, I worked even harder today. I did finally get the top of the limb that was stuck on another branch. I almost thought I was going to have to take Ken up on his offer to get it down for me. But I did it. Was already dirty so I cut down a big dogwood tree in the front yard. It had a few dead limbs and just did not look good to me so, it is gone. I go wild with a chainsaw.

Now, I just have to find time to burn the brush pile down at my aunts. beushpile.jpg I did darn good!

Ken asked me to meet him at the Moose Lodge for supper. I do love their food. I had the salad bar and a taco. They have a great salad bar.

I submitted my application today to the Moose Lodge. They did not make Ken sign me in tonight so I guess they consider me a Moosette already. They said I should hear something in 2-4 weeks. They have to vote on you. Sheesh! They better approve me because they took my money.

    heehee

I told Ken I would fix him supper this weekend. I told him a steak dinner but he said tonight he would love to have some spaghetti because he has not had that in a while. That is fine with me. I guess I remember how to make it.

Guess we will do it Saturday because he has to work. I wish he did not work so much. I told him that he did not have the time to give me the devotion that I require. He just grins and gives me a hug. He likes to do that.

I left after supper and went to the dollar store. I haven't had a chance to go there in a long time. I needed a belated birthday card for my friend in W VA. She loves getting cards and this is the first year I have forgotten to send her one. I guess I was so excited about my Tennessee trip that I forgot. She understood. She is happy that I am happy.

Hope everyone including me sleeps well tonight. I am not long off to bed. Sweet dreams all.

I’m sorry, Dale :( Wish I had some tips and tricks to help.
Aw that’s sweet Sara. Just part of a life doing hard manual work.

Good morning Dale and lurkers

I know but it makes me sad when you are in pain. :(

I’ve got the Hershey bars to go with the marshmallows, alls we need is the graham crackers. Oooohweeee do I love s’mores!!

Whelp, it is my Sunday. Tis fitting that it’s gloomy outside. Believe it or not, I’m actually ready to go back. Maybe because it’s only 2 days and then its the weekend:laugh:

I hope you all have a lovely day, I’m going to finish my laundry and watch a movie.

I watered my geraniums and that is all I am going to do today. I think I have done quite enough lately.

It is weird that I have a physical today and I woke up at 3 itching with poison oak and a sore throat. I can't remember the last time I had a sore throat. I think it was when my kids were little. Oh well, I did do right much huffing and puffing dragging that brush down to my aunt's brush fire. Maybe that is what caused it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Later Lurkers!

Hopefully it was just the huffing and puffing that caused your sore throat!

Of all the things I’m allergic to I don’t think I’m terribly allergic to poison oak  My brother on the other hand merely has to see it and he reacts poor guy:laugh:
