In your nightmares
Hiya everyone

I’m alive

Slipped off a ladder at work, hyperextended it pretty good. Happened a couple of weeks ago. Surgery is needed to fix a tear in the meniscus. Kind of depressing really, not really wanting to have another surgery this year.

Hope you all have a great day

Bless your heart. So sorry to hear you had a fall. I know you do not want another surgery. My ex had a meniscus tear and they did arthroscopic surgery on it. Recovery took some time but he said it was better right after the surgery. I hope it all goes well for you.

We sure do miss you though.

It has definitely gotten chillier here. I hope I have warm enough clothes because we are going back to his dad in Chattanooga tomorrow. Ken says we are going to take the motorcycle. Not sure that is smart with his ribs but I'm fine. His dad wants to put his truck in Ken's name. It will be a beautiful trip through the mountains if my eyeballs are not shivering.

I have long john's and I plan to use them.

Another deputy called me yesterday. He was super nice. I told him I knew he could not say anything about a fellow worker but I was not pleased that they did not come out and at least try to get fingerprints from the inside of Ken's truck. The deputy said he could complain and the other officer did not follow procedure. My vehicle was seen through an intersection camera at 3:00 a.m. the morning it was stolen. He thinks it was juveniles and it will show up. I sure hope he is right.

I still cannot believe I had something stolen from me considering I live on a little dead-end street where everyone knows each other. Three of us are related. Sheesh! What is this o'l world coming to? It is sad to me.

No news on my Honda today.

Other than that, it was a beautiful day. I suggested we take the bike out today to see how it did with his injury. He seemed fine. I wanted to make sure before we took a six-and-a-half-hour drive. I am wondering how I will do with my sciatica. We will see. We are planning to leave mid-morning. This is going to be a short trip. Only 1 night. Maybe two. I may need more time to rest up for the drive back home. Since they have had their first frost, I think the leaves will be spectacular.
Went back to my fav restaurant tonight (Bonbon's) and split a Texas Chicken Quesadilla. It was so good. My cousin ordered it Sunday when we went out and she gave me a bite. One bite was not enough. I could have eaten the whole thing but I was good and split it.

Fri-Yay will be here before you know it. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

When we get back from TN, I have to get more Halloween candy. Guess I got mine a little too early this year. We have never once had a trick-or -treater but you have to be prepared, just in case!

Can you believe the price of chocolate candy this year? Not sure how the people who live in neighborhoods with lots of families can afford this holiday. Sheesh!

good evening lurkers

Yep, I couldn’t get on this morning either. Good thing it doesn’t happen too often ;)

I went with knee because of the torn meniscus. This household is too familiar with knee talk lol

Hope you have a safe trip, Rat2.

I’m thinking french toast for dinner. Kiddo has training and we were supposed to have ravioli but we just had spaghetti last night. Not really feeling it.

70s, yesterday through Friday and now there is snow in the forecast for Halloween  Yeeesh!

‘Oh I see, you’d know that word much better than I then .

It snowed once on Halloween here when DD was 4 0r 5 so about 30 years ago.

Wow, Dale. How much did you get?

Hope everyone has a great day!
    Good morning Sara

Now that I don’t remember  I know it was wet and cold while trick or treating.

You have a good day too, you’re on the downhill side of the week ;)

Good morning, Dale and Sara. 70's here for the next 3 days and it gets really brrrrrr. Our snow is for 11/1.
    Good morning Fran
Sadly we’re back in the 80’s but at least it’s not in the 100’s anymore ;)

I don't care much for the 80's but it's sure better than in the 100's.

    Good evening lurkers

I, too, would prefer 80s to 100s. Sure would have loved to *see* more of those days this summer lol We definitely trick or treated a time or two in heavy winter coats, boots and gloves. I always chose a homemade costume that the coat could go under.

Pizza for dinner. Take out. We haven’t had that in a few weeks. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday.

Good evening Sara  We’re usually sweating on Halloween but this year it might cool off after the weekend.:thumb: Upper 50’s, I’ll take it! Even though it’s usually a little warmer than they say it will be.

I had a leftover ribeye and salad, easy peasy ;)
