Thanks, Rat2. I hate seeing her limp. Sure wish it would heal. How sweet to share your coupon, we did that last weekend at the grocery store. Had to spend 50 to get 5 off. I didn't think we'd hit 50, especially since I made sure to go with DH. He's the out of control one at the grocery store. lol and I was right, we didn't even get close. Love the tinsel in the hair look. I say I have natural tinsel when the rogue gray pops up.

We are having Buddy the Elf spaghetti for dinner. Have y'all seen the movie Elf? lololol I'm always looking for new Advent Calendar activities for kiddo. Gone are the days of plastic toys/chocolate. Last year I kept seeing an ad for Hello Fresh (meal kits). They put together an Elf dinner kit. I tried and tried each day to get one ordered, but no luck. I'd have it in my cart, input my card info in and when I would hit complete your purchase, it would be out of stock. Super frustrating. But then I decided, I would do it next year (this) So I found the perfect box, wrapped it in Elf paper and bought all the ingredients. Ho ho ho........It just so happens to be today's activity. Since Spaghetti parm was on the menu, I figured it was the perfect day to do the "twist" He said he's excited to try it. Not sure if that was a fib or not. I promised there will also be spaghetti parm.

I‘m not feeling the Christmas spirit right now. However DH suggested we order pizzas and invite the kids and his sister’s family for lunch Saturday the 23rd, works for me .
Still feeling pretty crappy but probably will until the slight fever leaves. Texted Randy today and told him I wasn’t going to make it tomorrow, not only do I just not feel up to it but I don’t want to spread this around the shop.
Lamb chops for supper with eggs mixed with broccoli, onions and cheese, also toasted bread.

Had a horrible time falling asleep due to coughing fits but once I finally got to sleep it was good. I’d get nice and cozy in the twilight zone and bam! The coughing would restart and I’d cough until I gagged.

Workers comp is different than disability, if you can walk they want you back at work asap. I need to be back at work anyway being at home all day drives me crazy.

I worked on a closet yesterday. Added more to the trash in the back of Ken's truck that will be going to the dump and I have another load of stuff to donate. At least I am finally being productive and working towards my goal which is to empty this house. My effort seems to come in spurts.

It is 28 degrees outside and I have not heard my heat pump take a break. It is time for cold weather so I am not complaining. I would give anything (just about) to see a white Christmas.

Ken picked a movie last night that was a spinoff from Jumanji. It was called Zathura: A Space Adventure. I put the laptop down and watched it. Enjoyed movie night. We also watched The Mask. I had never seen that one either. Silly, but the effects were pretty impressive. Jim Carrey was perfect for that role because I think he is a goofball. I haven't seen him in anything lately.

Well, hope the infirmed start feeling better and the non-sick ones stay that way.

Made chili for supper tonight.

I did manage to wrap Christmas presents while I’ve been home . Got one for Paco today that’s not done and one on the way for DH . Put together a little kitchen toy I got for Kalli . I was quite irritated when I got it as it was reboxed and came with no instructions for assembly. I managed to figure it out with the picture online.

‘Probably going to work tomorrow. Didn’t quite feel up to it today after all.

Hoping the linger time will be less for for you.

aww Dale sounds like what a lot of people have. I don't remember the "bug" to be as bad as they have been lately when I was a kid It's quite alarming. Kiddo is now complaining of a sore throat. ugh. Hope tomorrow isn't too bad for you, Dale, although you sound like you could use a few more days at home.

Late night, Dh had a meeting, so I left work to go grab kiddo at soccer practice. Pretty proud of myself for finding the place after getting lost on the way, even with GPS missed a road. Then I drove us home via the Interstate. I do not like driving at night, especially when I'm not familiar with the area. Treated us to McDonald's for dinner.

I'm ready for bed. Sweet dreams
