    Good morning :)

Hopefully you don’t have to go anywhere, Fran. Stay safe and warm.

Hahaha. Jealous of your rain, Dale and you know I don’t care for rain ;)

It’s definitely white out there this morning but hard to tell how much from upstairs.

Hope everyone has a great day!
Good morning, Sara. :) Looks like only maybe a couple inches here but it's still coming down.

Good afternoon Fran and Dale

It was a fantastic day aside from the snow. We ended up with about 5 inches. It won't last as they are forecasting rain/50s next week. Hope you don't get too much, Fran.

We celebrated my grandpa's bday. 90 years young. So nice to see extended family from all over.

Hope you gals are having a great day!

Good evening Sara. Thrilled you had such a great day
Mine wasn’t too shabby, I read and played games all day  That and took Paco out umteen times  I don’t mind it during the day but not thrilled about going out after dark. Need to remember and grab a flashlight

Supper was pork tenderloin slices with broccoli. We have a bunch of disposable plates and utensils so no dishes

DH is home so the cooking will have to resume ;)
I did the little sad emoji because you would have to start cooking again, not that the hubby returned.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It seems like I have been so busy, which is a good thing.

Have not been to the Moose Lodge in forever so we went Friday night because they had Prime Rib.

OMgosh! It was the best I had ever had and I will keep an eye on what they are serving so I can go next time too. It was a huge piece of meat which I had to bring home half because I enjoyed their salad bar. They have a really good one. My only complaint is that they did not have bread with the meal. I think it should have included it but it was no biggie because I didn't need it anyway.

Kens' shoulder was hurting him badly this weekend. I told him to let me help him carry the boxsprings out to his truck when we took it to the dump but no, he had to carry it by himself. And he says I'm stubborn. Oh well, I told him he should go to the doctor because it has bothered him off and on for several weeks now but just like a man. . . he said it will be fine.

My aunt's arm is healing nicely and like a good caregiver, I have been down there every day to change the bandage for her, even though she could. I just think she likes me coming down there.

I did plenty of walking this weekend. Not to mention the vacuuming I did too. You get right many steps in doing chores. The other night I needed to walk so I started reading my book and it must have been really good because I got in a little over 20,000 steps. That was a bit much and my knee agrees with me.

Last week, Ken said something about Manwich which I have not eaten since my kiddos were little. I did add green peppers and onion to it but it was rather tasty for supper. It was a cheap meal way back when but with the cost of hamburger, it is not cheap anymore. I used to not mind going to the grocery store but now, I find it upsetting. Oh well, gotta eat.

Hope everyone has a great start to their week. Get that nasty Monday out of the way Sara and the rest will be a breeze. (fingers crossed).

    Good morning lurkers

Happy to hear the boys are home from their camping trip, Dale.

Thanks, Rat2 :) Glad your Aunt’s arm is doing well. I agree with the groceries. We didn’t even shop this weekend. I said let’s make do with what we have for the week.

Lol, it’s supposed to reach mid 50s today so all the snow should be gone by the time I roll out of work.

    Have a great day!!

Good morning Rat2 and Sara

He looked rough when he came in the door though

I’m curious, is Ken not working anymore?

    Good evening lurkers

haha Bet he was glad to be home then. Snow is mostly melted. Some spots in the yard/house that the sun doesn't hit. But driveway is clear and we didn't have to shovel any of it

Glad to be home. We had raviolis, corn and garlic toast on some freezer burned hamburg rolls  nah they weren't too bad. Still working on clearing stuff out of the freezer/pantry. Got myself back to walking on breaks/after dinner and hit 12200 steps today. How's the walking pad, Dale? Any improvement in the discomfort? Remember any movement is better than no movement.

Time for some tv, I'm whooped. Hope you enjoy the rest of the evening.

    Good evening Sara
‘Glad to hear that your snow is mostly gone :thumb:
‘We had ribeye with a noodle dish I made up with scampi sauce and broccoli/cauliflower

Still hurts to walk but I’m sticking with it.
    Have a restful evening

We had sun the last few days but melting is slow cause it’s still cold. Today we are seeing little spots of ground.
Sorry you’re still stuck with the snow Fran :(
