I finally got back to sleep but only took another nap. Grrrr It was a slow morning but I finally made it to the gym after lunch. I took it pretty easy on the treadmill today and did just a few weights.

Had to go to WallyWorld (Yuck!) It takes no time at all to put $50 in your cart. I finally found my bag of all-black jelly beans. I refused to pay $1.64 for them because it was such a small bag. I could have held them in my two hands. I may break down and get them next time or try to see if they go on sale after Easter.

My aunt said her arm did not bother her last night at all. I was grateful. The bandage does not come off until Thursday. They put a wick in it and I can see on the bandage that it is doing its thing because it is draining. I think the bandage should be changed before but hey, the doctor knows more than me. After Thursday, I will change the bandage every day until it is healed. I am just glad that it is not bothering her. She is one tough cookie anyway. I took her a container of Ken's chili so she would have something easy for supper.

It was much cooler today but at least the sun was out. Going to get back warm later this week. I am just ready for Spring and consistent warm, sunny weather.

I ate a salad for supper like a good girl and then ruined it because Ken just made pancakes. I only ate one but still, it makes me so mad that I have no willpower.

I think I am going to go read for a while and keep my fingers crossed for a good night's rest. I need it desperately. Hope everyone sleeps well and has a great Wednesday.

Lol! We usually get a good storm around St Patty’s Day. So far the driveway is mostly clear but the grass is white. We’ll see if that 3-6 holds true today.

‘Hope you’re sleeping Rat2 I laid awake until after 12:30 so have only been up about 30 minutes.

If we get anything weather wise it’s a day or two in March Sara and usually involves ice.

I am sitting with my long-sleeved jacket on, eating hot oatmeal, trying to get warm. At least I am dressed and ready for the gym. I'll get there.

These off-and-on sleeping nights are getting to be quite tiresome. I hate waking up and feeling more tired than when I went to bed. Grrrr But, tonight I get another chance to sleep the whole night through. I'm gonna try.

The sun is out and it is supposed to get up to 70. A beautiful day. I'm going to get the gym out of the way and then I'm going to do something. I don't know what, but something.

I walked longer today than I have before, trying to push through the pain.

That is great.

Just go slow and listen to your body. Even when I stop for a few days, I just about have to start all over with easing back into it so it will not bother me too much.

Yes, here I am once again. I went to bed pretty easily but just could not stay asleep. Grrrr

We binge-watched the first season of The Chosen today. There are four seasons. It is really good and cast very well. I do like to watch a whole season at a time.

We had leftover chili from where Ken made it the other night and it was even better reheated. My aunt said she ate the whole container I took her so she must have liked it too.

Going to try once again. If at first, second, and third you don't succeed, try, try again.

Almost one a month! Not many workers get that.

Bankers holidays, I suppose. I’m sure this local govt would absolutely love to take them all away. They already took Election Day and are pushing to take Black Friday. I know that those aren’t real holidays but these days were given to the employees years ago in exchange for say, no raises or paying towards their healthcare etc. They are slowly removing all those perks without really giving anything in exchange. They look to see who makes up the majority of the work force and pits them against the other side with each contract. Sad that our union works with them instead of helping us. I could go on but it’s depressing and makes civil service jobs unappealing. Might as well work for a private company.

Well we got more snow. Never did reach the 3-6 (maybe 2) but overnight could see up to 5. The roads were horrendous coming home but I took it slowly and only slid once.
