    Happy Easter everyone:wub:

Prime rib roast with roasted potatoes, green bean salad, corn is what we are having.
    Good afternoon Joey
That sounds delicious, we had our usual pizza.

Went to church and stayed late to socialize, it was great :) Sure took a chunk out of the day!

    Good evening everyone

Just sitting down and ooof I'm whooped. Kiddo searched for eggs/basket this morning. As long as he wants to look, I will hide the eggs ;) We met Dh's parents and sister for breakfast. Came home to let Lucy out and grab the stuff we were taking to my mom's and headed there where kiddo searched for more eggs. We did Thanksgiving fare (parents had a turkey they wanted to cook). Hung out for a bit and then came home to get ready for the week. How did the weekend go by so fast

Both your dinners sound really good. I hope everyone had a wonderful day!

I’m surprised your son is still into hunting eggs, Bela sure isn’t

Glad it was you eating turkey and not me, I’m just not a fan.

Sounds like everyone had a nice Easter. Me too! It was 80 some degrees today and it felt so good. We did not go anywhere and just stayed home. I got a few more Boxwoods trimmed. I did not go to the gym but read my book while walking up and down the street and got my 10,000 steps in.

Not a fancy supper but it sure was good. Ham, sweet potatoes, black-eyed peas, cranberry sauce, and a salad. For me, it is not Easter unless you eat deviled eggs so I fixed those also. We pigged out and I am still feeling full. Back to trying to eat healthier tomorrow. My usual Monday.

I will take my aunt to the bank in the morning and then tomorrow afternoon, I have a tax preparation appointment. Hope I have everything I need. I always feel like I am forgetting something.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

    Good evening lurkers

Oh, Dale. I know the feeling. Hopefully your day did end up being quiet.

Thank goodness today is over for it totally kicked my you know what. LOL! Day after Easter is always the busiest. After 19 years, I still don't know why that is. But the office was packed all day long. Came home and had meatball sandwiches with tots and steamed peas. Then we took my car to the gas station to put air in my tires, the one was really low. Think there is a bad valve stem because I don't see any signs of a nail. Sheesh, I remember when air was a quarter. Now it's $2.50 and you have to use your credit card

Hope everyone has a great night.

    Good evening Sara.

2.50 for air?! I remember when it was rightfully free. You need to get a portable air machine to keep in your trunk like we do.

Supper was Rotisserie seasoned pork chops with green beans and sweet buttery carrots.

Have a great night, I’d settle for an improved one

    Good evening :)

It was a definite improvement ;)

Glad you slept better. Sorry you had to take something. Dh grabbed a pizza on the way home. I'm drained. Hope everyone had a great day!
Good evening Sara  Glad to hear that your DH provided dinner for you all. DH had salmon and carrots, I had leftover pork chops and a salad.

Oh, how I can relate to that one! It is awful to be that way. Glad you finally got some sleep. I am very close to taking something to help me too! I want to sleep more than a couple of hours at a time. That gets old real quick.

It got in the 80's today and I was rather warm. This afternoon I even turned on the a/c for the first time. It cooled off and I turned it off for the night but I am not going to be uncomfortable.

That actually could have something to do with my lack of sleep. I have been waking up hot and kicking all the covers off.

It turned out to be a real great day for me. My tax woman told me on the phone that because I did not have any earned income that I did not have to file. I asked her to look over what I had just for my own piece of mind.

One of the places that sent me a check from one of dad's accounts told me they were required to take out Federal taxes and I did get a notice from them. Because I just deposited the money in a Money Market account and did not spend it, she filed my taxes and I am getting back every penny of the tax that company took out. YAY! I'm doing a happy dance and going

    to that company.

I was thrilled, to say the least.

All I wanted for supper was a big beautiful salad with grilled chicken over it. Ken said that was fine with him also so that is what we had. It was so good. I cut up so much crunchy stuff on my salad. I had gotten addicted to banana peppers for some reason. I really think the boiled eggs make the salad and it is a great source of protein. Oh well, I like salads all year round but especially when it is warm.

Hope everyone is having a great week. Hope we all sleep well and enjoy the week half over.

    Good evening :)

Woot! We're on the downslide of the week. Received good news today too! After a lot of dragging of feet, they've finally decided to close the office for the Eclipse. They say our area will be overrun with spectators lol We shall see.

Dinner was a helpy selfy kinda night. I ended up with an egg salad wrap, a dill pickle and greek yogurt with blackberries. Hit my protein and fiber goal :thumb: It's raining, windy and cold. Ohhh and we're supposed to get snow the next two days. maybe 2 inches when it's al said and done.

Hope everyone had a great day!

One day it is 80 and then the next in the 50's. Sheesh! I am just ready for Spring and warm weather. Not hot, just warm.

I did not make it to the gym today I picked up my meds at Sam's, got gas, went grocery shopping at Aldi's, faxed a form for my aunt at the UPS store, stopped by the thrift store, and found a shirt and a pair of Sketcher shoes for $5.99 (yes I know I do not need another pair of shoes but the price was good and I do not have navy shoes), and finished trimming the bushes on the front of the house. Looks like I would be tired and sleepy but I went to bed and finished a book and was still not sleepy so I just got up and decided to catch up on ECF. I'll try again. But I already know coffee will be delayed in the morning.
