I'd love 68. We are at 34 with rain/snow mix. Supposed to get a coating to an inch. Better than 1-2.

It was cold today but I am not going to complain.

At least there is no snow here. Had to turn the heat on though.

I finally went to bed after I had my coffee with Ken. I was up and down all night. I honestly think it is the drastic weather change. 76 one day and 54 the next. Oh well, it is supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow which is good because I need to do the trim work. Ken said he would do the rest of the mowing. I will push mow around everything like I used to do for Dad since this is only the second time he has mowed the yard here. I did it last summer because of his broken ribs.

I did not make it to the gym today or get my steps in. I stepped into the shower because the hot water helped my joints. I did not feel like getting out of my pj's. It was one of those days. I stayed in bed all morning and Ken went to bed early tonight. That is the kind of relationship I can handle.

Friday here again and I hope it goes by fast for you Sara. I hope the yardwork goes by fast.

Three day weekend with no big plans, I’m looking forward to that. Headache is gone. Cars and grass have a coating but the driveway/roads don’t

Love the smell of fresh cut grass! We are starting to see some buds on the trees here. Yay!

Good morning! Yes, I slept some last night thanks to Benydryl. It helps if I take a couple occasionally. I appreciate whatever sleep I can get. I definitely sleep worse if I am hot. Thank goodness for the a/c.

The sun is out but it is still chilly. It is supposed to get up in the 50s again today. That is not a bad temp if you move around like doing yard work.

Right now I am enjoying the cup of coffee Ken so nicely fixed for me. He does fix my coffee almost every morning. Not a bad way to start the day although I've never had trouble getting my coffee. Some things are classified as a necessity.

Yay for the 3 day weekend Sara. Hope everyone has a great day.

Hope you had a wonderful day! Snow was gone by the time I got out of work. I was running late or I would have taken a pic this morning. It looked like a postcard the way everything was coated.

While I love the warm weather, I definitely don't like sleeping in it and now I'm having hot flashes at night, not looking forward to that this summer. Always nice to have someone make your coffee for you.

Made dinner, got 3000 steps on the treadmill, list is ready to go for shopping tomorrow and one load of laundry done. I'm beat and ready for a movie.

I'm having hot flashes at night

I don't think I ever went through menopause which is fine with me. What I wouldn't do to have a hot flash though. Very rare that my feet get warm.

I told y'all I was going to have help today with the yard. His shoulder was fine for the motorcycle this week but this morning he took some Ibuprophen and one of my muscle relaxers because he said it was bothering him. Well, I knew once he took that he would be sleepy. I got finished with the push mowing (got my steps in, yay) and came in to tell him. He was sound asleep on the couch so I just went and did the riding part, edged the driveway and sidewalks, and weedeated around the house.

I also mowed the biggest part of my nephew's yard next door. I did not do it to help his lazy behind, I did it to help my aunt. It was really thick after all the rain and it would have taken her a long time.

The only bad thing is I go so fast and somehow I lost my tooter. It is somewhere in the yard. I'll walk around tomorrow and see if I can find it. I have lots of tooters but I just hate to lose anything. I took my black one because I thought the white one might get dirty. Darn. I wish I'd taken the white one because it would have been easier to find. Oh well,

We had planned to go to the Moose Lodge tonight because they were having Chicken Alfredo. My cousin called again and offered me free tickets to see Brett Young and Sam Hunt at the Coliseum but Ken did not want to go. GRRR We had already made plans but darn it, plans could have changed. I told my cousin to ask again and if Ken was not interested in going, I would go with them.

I hate losing things and even more, I hate missing out on something fun that is FREE!

Supper was very good and we had enough left over to eat for supper tomorrow night. I love their salad bar and I fixed a nice big one. Amazing how much I can stack on a saucer. It is a gift.

There were two huge pieces of chicken so I only had enough room for part of one since I ate the whole salad. It will be great reheated tomorrow night and as a perk, I won't have to cook. WINNING!

Hope everyone has a great night's slumber. I think I might just do the Benydryl thing again since it helped last night. I should sleep but I may be too tired to get a good sleep.

Haha. Never my toes. Always starts at my chest and runs up to the top of my head. I turn beat red like I’d been lying in a tanning bed and I can feel my cheeks and ears get really hot.

That stinks his shoulder was bothering him and he couldn’t help So very nice you did the yard for you Aunt.

Hopefully you both slept well.

Good Saturday morning Rat2 and Sara.

Like Sara said hot flashes flush the chest , neck and face but doesn’t effect your feet
Man I had them so bad I could literally feel waves of heat coming from my collar. Nasty , miserable feeling.

As of right now we’re planning to go see dad today, he’s not doing well. Very cloudy and warm this morning, weather forecast said it was supposed to be clear and sunny.

haha Dale, you got that right. My ears will feel like they are on fire and my cheeks. My forehead gets a little sticky and the back of my neck sweats, amongst other things
I'm sorry your dad isn't doing well. Hope you do get to see him

Got our shopping done and then I hopped on the treadmill. Hit 10k before 12:30. Don't know I've ever accomplished that before. Dh and I are planning on taking a walk later on one of the bike paths around the area. Sunny and high 40s. Great time to do it.

Good afternoon y’all. After DH got home from the men’s breakfast we went to see dad. He’s really not doing well now, never even woke up while we were there but I did see my uncle.

Yeah it was nice to see him He’s a nice guy and has been good to dad.

It’s okay about dad, I hate to see him go but he’s been miserable for a long time. Right now sleeping is probably the only peace he gets.
