Not much rest today, had to mow the lawn. Also waiting for my friend to take down some trees.

He got 2 trees down the last 1 will be down tomorrow. On to a new problem I have to get a new sump pump. I ordered 1 from Amazon it will be here tomorrow or Monday. Still need to install the gutter guards but that will have to wait until my next days off.

Got back in late and Perry got up and went back to Goldsboro as I went with him last week. I stayed home today and have had a really productive day. Did the wash and some much-needed cleaning that I have been neglecting. I might sleep pretty good tonight. (fingers crossed)

I think it has been pretty hot today but I wouldn't know because I have not gone out. When Perry left this morning he told me I better not mow the yard because he loves mowing. Took me two seconds to say that I would mow if I wanted to. He just laughed and told me to get on with my bad self. I didn't tell him that there was no way I was going to mow in this heat. It's the first time I've had help with the yard and I am enjoying it.

We had another tornado warning here, nothing hit the ground. Just heavy rain with high winds. I think pea season is over, way to much rain here the combines could not get into the fields because they were to muddy. Today we started potatoes, Friday we start corn.

Gosh I hurt all over this morning when I got up. Thankfully it’s easing off now.
