    Good morning Dale

Not really my days consist of work and house repairs lately. Had to replace the sump pump yesterday afternoon. Then cook dinner and get ready for work
Same boat here Joey, lots of expensive house repairs, car repairs and august is when our insurance is due on the house and 3 cars . Thank God we’ve had the money for it saved up.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the casserole, Rat2. What did you put in it besides the squash, did you already say?
I NEVER follow a recipe or make the same thing twice. I like trying different things. It is impossible to mess up a casserole. This time I just cooked my squash slices with onion. Mixed one egg, a big spoon of Mayo, a little Sour Cream and I had Sharp Cheddar and Pepper Jack. The standard go to topping of crushes Ritz Crackers mixed with melted butter and Parmesan Cheese. Cooked about 30 minutes until topping is browned. Viola! I love me some casseroles!
    I love squash casserole!
Me too. One of my favorites. I can just microwave squash, onions, and butter and make a meal. heehee
Got to work and had the blue screen of temporary death. Around noon they sent us home. Perfect start to my mini vacation.
Kudos! You could not have planned that one any better. Or did you? bahahahaha
We’ll be clocking 38 years and DD will be turning 34
I actually did think on June 30th that I would have been married 41 years if I had stayed married. Divorce is sad in a way. But it didn't take long to get over it! heehee

Oh to be in my 30's again. Don't know if I would have changed anything but it is nice to think of what could have been. heehee

Glad Perry got both yards mowed because we are finally getting some much needed rain. I am glad about the rain but it makes me hurt much worse. I also think the rain is bothering more since I gained 20 lbs and stopped going to the gym. I have got to get back to it.

I trimmed Perry's toenails a little bit one time but I told him it reminded me of having to do my fathers. Yesterday, since it was raining, we went and he got a pedicure. He wanted me to get one with him but I had just cut mine so short that they would not have had anything to work with. heehee I must say, they can do a much better job that I could have done. I have had a couple pedicures and I love them but just cannot justify the cost. It does feel wonderful though.

Perry grilled out Ribeye's last night and I fixed the broccoli and baked potato. Also cut up a very ripe Cantaloupe that needs to be eaten quickly. I kind of like fixing meals with Perry. It is a bit different with him because he never finds anything wrong with my meal and actually thanks me for it. I just think he likes eating and not having to clean the kitchen. heehee

Perry did not have comprehensive on his truck, which did not matter to me because I wanted to fix his truck window anyway. They have mobile units now and are coming to my house tomorrow. I was really expecting more but my clumsiness is going to cost me $291. That really did not sound too bad. I was expecting it to be a little more. I still cannot get over that Perry did not get the least bit upset. He was just glad I did not get hurt. That is pretty special.

His uncle died recently and they are planning a get-together for him. I hate his uncle passed but Perry said we could take my bike for a road trip. I have never been to Boston so of course, I am looking forward to it. It is around a 750 mile trip. He said he would not drive 13 hours so it will take 2 days. Does not matter to me because I am quite comfy. I dozed off on my bike when Ken and I took it to TN. It is that comfy. It has arm rests so I don't think I will fall off. I don't know. Maybe I should try to stay awake. heehee

Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday.

    Good evening everyone

Not sure how I got so lucky...guess I can thank CrowdStrike

The whole family went to a baseball game today. Haven't been in years. While it was nice to spend time with everyone, I'd rather watch paint dry at least that is safe. Foul balls scare the bleep out of me.

Wow congrats on your anniversary, Dale  And Happy Birthday to your daughter.

Sorry to hear about Perry's uncle. Safe travels, Rat2. I will have to try the casserole, we have a couple zucchini's almost ready.

Well I'm off to find a movie, the sun wiped me out today. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Good afternoon, almost evening Rat2 and Sara

Hope you enjoy seeing Boston Rat2!

I didn’t mind watching kids play baseball when I was younger but wouldn’t want to now, I’d never survive the hat without getting sick.

Forgot to tell y’all Bela hurt herself playing volleyball again and is on crutches, think it’s just a bad sprain tho’.

    Good morning, Dale

Aww, poor, Bela. Hope she recovers quickly.

I'm glad you are having decent weather and getting the rain I know you probably need. We haven't been having the greatest of summers. It's been warm but not much sun and blue skies.

The baseball game was a Buffalo Bisons game..think MLB but a step down. Kiddo never expressed an interest in baseball when he was young. Soccer and Lacrosse.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all. Woke up to a cloudy day and 95% chance of rain. If I had not already made up the bed, I would go lay back down. I have been know to lay on top with a blanket so it is not out of the question. heehee

Had my coffee and now snacking on some beef jerky that I made yesterday. I sure do like Perry's dehydrator. He has never tried it but I am wanting to try some apples, pineapples, and anything else that sounds good.

Made a meatloaf, country fries with onion, bacon, and cheese, collards, and cantaloupe for supper. Perry seems to really like my cooking. I hope I did not hurt his feelings because I told him I was feeling a little too domesticated lately. heehee That's not my idea of a non-relationship. Oh well, I liked supper too!

Hope everyone has a great day!
