Remember how Perry did not get upset when I turned his motorcycle over accidentally? Well, he earned some more points yesterday because I accidentally cracked the back window on his beloved truck. It took me a good 30 minutes to get prepared to call him and tell him what happened.

He was amazing. He told me he would take care of it when he got home and not to worry about it. I got weepy and he asked me why I was crying. It is because he did not get upset. That is the opposite of what all the men in my life have been like. I am not really sure what to think about it. I know it made me feel better. Of course, I am going to get the window replaced. He may put a claim on his insurance but I think it would be better for me to take care of it. We'll see.

I got the bill in for the plumber. That tiny leak in the pipe under the house, which only took about 20 minutes to fix, cost $337.05. I know plumbers have a hard job so I just went ahead and paid it. I am just grateful I had the money to pay for it and did not have to skip going to the grocery store. Always something happening for sure.

Perry should get back from his trip today but I have not heard from him. If he stays another day, he will miss a good meal because I have a squash casserole ready to go in the oven and believe it or not, I am going to fry some deer cube steak because it was so good the other night. Guess I am feeling guilty over the window and trying to make Perry a good meal.

Still hot as Hades here and a chance of thunderstorms this evening. We had a short shower last night but the grass is still crunchy.

Have a nice evening everyone.

Good evening everyone

Awww, do you miss my wordy, nonsensical ramblings?:lol::lol:

The book was really good and I finished it in a couple of hours. She promptly rewarded me with another, but I will have to sit on it for a day since there is a soccer game tonight.

I'm glad nothing touched down by you, Joey. Weather has definitely been wild this spring/summer.

Dale, hope you are less sore today.

Rat2, always nice to be at home in your own bed and you'd better save the mowing for Perry. ;)

Time to head out. Enjoy the rest of your evening

Hiya everyone

Not feeling so good, stomach is messed up. Left work last night after a few hours. Having the runs is definitely not good to have when the bathrooms are not close

Was a nice day here, weather over the last 3 weeks has been weird for sure!!

Good morning. My supper turned out better than even I expected. I had so much left over that I took my aunt a big o'l plate and she is so appreciative. She will heat it up tomorrow because she had already eaten a waffle for supper. I guess I was the most pleased that Perry thought it was a great meal. He is such a good cook and I am just so plain. But I did have to go back for a second helping of that squash casserole. YUM!

Already Friday eve. Sheesh! Where does the time go?

Thank you, Dale, you made me smile and I sure did need it ;)

I'm glad everyone enjoyed the casserole, Rat2. What did you put in it besides the squash, did you already say?

Enjoy the rest of your evening
