Sounds like everyone had a nice weekend. I did too. I ate supper at the Moose twice. I did not feel like cooking. Every now and then, I get a little spell of low blood pressure. That is what happened to me this weekend. I got so dizzy and felt so weird. When you get to 86/38 you feel weird. I kept check on it and this afternoon I started feeling better. Stayed in bed til after lunch which is also weird for me. Oh well, I am feeling better now and that is all that matters.

Perry is making some beef bone broth now. I am ready for bed myself. I am glad about the change in the time. I like DST and wish it was that way all year long.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

dale, I am feeling much better today. Took it easy yesterday. I got in the kitchen last night and watched Perry make venison vegetable soup. (I did cut up some of the veggies) Oh boy, it was good. We had it for supper and he is going to can the rest tonight.

A beautiful sunny day here and I think it is supposed to get up to 72. Perry got up and fixed his breakfast and I got coffee and have been watching tv in bed ever since. I love slow nice easy mornings.

Going to try to motivate and maybe go to the gym here. It is not as nice as the one I have at my house but they are friendly and it do just fine.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

    Good evening everyone
    :)

We had Chinese takeout tonight, was especially good.

An hour and a half ago when I got home from work it was clear and sunny, now it’s all gray. Got a storm coming through in the middle of the night, of course I had my car washed today

Work wasn’t terrible today but we had an owner hovering about and taking pictures of meat cuts . He was a nice guy but man he was in our way!

Isn't that the way it always happens? I love a clean car but I must admit that I hate washing cars. I don't know how they get so dirty, so fast.

    was especially good.
I LOVE me some Chinese food. I have been craving it this week. I might see if Perry wants to get some Pork Egg Foo Young. My favorite place is called Golden Wok. They have the best egg rolls I have ever eaten. Yum. Now I'm hungry.

I am still patiently waiting for the correct paperwork from Ken's daughter regarding the titles to his chopper and truck. I keep testing her and telling her this is the time of year to sell motorcycles. She always tells me the day she is going to go and then, she never follows through.

I am giving her a break now because she said that Ken's father was scheduled to have prostrate surgery next month. She also said she was looking for a nursing home for him. I do hate to hear about his health. I just wish people would do the right thing. I am just frustrated with it all and have clearly expressed my need for closure on the whole situation. Perry offered to call her for me but I do not see where that would be the right thing to do either. This is between her and myself. She had plenty of time to do it while she was out of work for a month when she had her tummy tuck and tata lift. BTW, she could not pay for her father's funeral but she could pay $23,000 for cosmetic surgery. GRRRRR

That is enough ranting and raving from me! Happy Friday eve everyone!

    Good afternoon Rat2.
Well we didn’t get any rain last night so the car is still clean :thumb:
Got out of work today due to line men replacing poles and cutting power to the shop, fortunately not ours even though we’re only a mile a half away.

Sorry to hear about the hold up on Ken’s stuff, are you sure she didn’t sell them for her body work?

She couldn't have because I have his truck and chopper and the titles that go along with them. I also have a notarized copy of where she gave them to me. I just need her to go to the clerk of courts and get the one piece of paper I need. Something about a gift from her since she was the sole heir and he did not have a will. It has been a mess and I honestly wish I had never got involved with all this mess. But I had to pay for his funeral because I promised him I would get him back to TN to be buried by his mom (which I did). His family would not have honored his wishes. I only thought that if I could sell those items, it would help me recoup the $7,000 I spent on his funeral. I don't think I am asking for too much.

Thanks for listening (reading) to all my shenanigans. I find it very therapeutic to tell someone how I feel. I feel like you are the family I always wished I had had. I wish we lived close. All of us. Wouldn't it be a hoot? Y'all are probably thankful I live out east.

I think of you all as family too, no other reason for handing around here ;)

You should definitely be able to get your money back from that situation.

Watched a sci-fi with DH, I’ve seen better but I know he picked it for me so I watched it anyway

I think that is nice. I have gotten so I like sci-fi. Probably because that is what Perry watches.

I can't remember the last movie I went to see at the theater. I think it was Harry Potter. I was talking to a couple who said the tickets cost them $36. Whew! That is crazy. But I did find out that they had recliners now at the theater. That is pretty cool. But I'd still rather what a movie at home with my pj's on.

Perry worked late so I drove 25 miles to a deli to get him his favorite sandwich and pasta salad. It is a real deli with meat and cheese hanging all over the place. Smells a little funny but they have wonderful food. I wish I could find the recipe for that pasta salad. It is so good.

Hope everyone has a nice night and sleeps well.

Our son was 6 months old the last time I remember going to the theater, he’s 36 years old now. We used to rent videos fairly often back when that was a thing, they’ve all been gone for years now. :(

Wow you must really like Perry to drive that far to get his meal!

    Good evening ladies

Wow!! What happened to the week?

    Chinese food - delish

Title transfer woes make me angry on your behalf.

Movies at the theatre - I prefer being at home, but I love the popcorn and those recliners are nice.

Busy at work this week. Blerg! But I went to my mom’s after work and we spent a few hours together just chatting away. Got pizza for dinner. We are planning on making it a bi weekly thing (stepdad works swing shift) it will be nice having time just the two of us.

    Happy Fri-Yay y’all :)

    Good morning Dale

Groceries purchased, laundry started and the temps are nice! No sun but that’s ok. Any plans this weekend?

Thanks, we usually talk a couple times a week but catching up over dinner was definitely more fun.
Ugh I need to get a few things from the store but don’t want to go.

No plans other than church tomorrow. You going to read? ;)
