It has been beautiful weather here too this week (sorry Joey and Sara). I wonder if this is just a tease. That rodent did say we were going to have more bad weather but then again, what does he know?

Perry had his Lexus towed to a mechanic to see what was wrong with it and he had to get new tires for his truck. Always something that everyone has to deal with. That is life.

Now that I have Medicare (YAY!) I need to find a gym to join that is convenience from my house and Perry's. I have got to get back there. My knee is still doing very well but I am not sure it is ready to jump back into the amount of walking I was doing. We will see. I'll stop if it starts bothering me. Going to have to get back into it slowly.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. I can't believe it is already Thursday. Sheesh! Not sure where the week went.

Good morning Rat2. Was it hard figuring out what to do with Medicare? I’ve gotten tons of mail and need to do something but am totally clueless. :/

It was a beautiful warm day here. I got out and vacuumed two of my vehicles. It was so nice, I took a short walk too. The only bad thing is ever since I finished outside, my eyes have been watering like crazy. Maybe my shower will help.

Perry decided not to go to Virginia this weekend. Darn. I wanted to go somewhere. I guess he had a rough day yesterday. I went to his house but he was still acting funny so I came home. I hate driving after dark anymore. I have read where cataract surgery will help. We will see. I have an appointment at the end of this month. March! Can you believe it is March? I can't.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It is going to be quiet around here and that is okay with me!

Good evening Rat2 We had a nice day too, 66 and sunny.

We have Bela this weekend so there’s a little more activity in the house but not much, she’s our quiet one and a joy to have around. DH got a big smart tv so we set up the old one in her room with a dvd player and she’s a happy camper.

Sorry Perry is not feeling up to par, hopefully he’ll be his usual self soon.

I hope so too. First time I have seen him like this. I will give him time and space. Everyone needs that now and then. I hate to admit this but I am enjoying my time alone too! I have been eating right and it helps when I do not have to fix a big supper for us. I had cold pizza in the fridge tonight but I ate a salad with chicken over it. I love my salads.

That’s the spirit I know I absolutely need time alone to properly recharge.

Not having to cook is a major win in my opinion, DH goes camping the end of March and I’m definitely ready for the break from meal planning and prep.

Got the house cleaned and made a cake for my stepdad. We finally get to celebrate his bday this weekend. It had to be postponed due to the plague going around here. Mexican for dinner and then back here for cake/gifts.

Perry did call today and seems to be acting a bit more like himself. I told him all he had to do was tell me he needed some downtime and I would understand. I did not tell him how much I had been enjoying my time alone.

Our weather has been causing me problems too Rat2, joints painful enough I can’t get to sleep.
Glad to hear Perry called and sounded more his normal self.

I can’t get to sleep.

Oh, I can go to sleep but when I move (which is often) it wakes me up hurting so bad. Makes for a poor night's sleep. I took a Melatonin (10mg) but it did not help the least little bit.

I hope we both get better sleep tonight.

I just called to check on my aunt and like me, we are both lazy today. Not sure what happened to my giddy-up-and-go. It is cool again today but I am going to try to get dressed and take a short walk.

Enjoy your walk, I’ve just been busy in the house with laundry, dishes and cooking a big batch of chicken breasts, we’ll have part of it for supper tonight.

Cloudy here today but no weather expected until tomorrow and that has been reduced somewhat. Not sure what will happen but I’ll be at work.

Feel ya on the joint pain. Always been a side sleeper and I’ve been waking up with shoulder pain. It’s annoying

Glad that Perry is getting over his hump and that your forecast has improved! Fingers crossed for no tornadoes.

It was cool today but sunny. Instead of taking a walk like I planned, I did something better. Now that I have Medicare, I can join YMCA for free so I went down there and took a tour. I was very impressed and it is only 2.1 miles away from my house. Heck, I could walk there and back to get my steps in. But there is a bunch of traffic so maybe I better drive.

It is soooooo much easier to eat right when I am home alone. I think fixing big meals for Perry is why I have not been completely happy. He said I could come down there but he was spending too much in fuel for his truck to drive every day. (it is 30 miles) I told him that was fine and we would see each other on the weekends. We will see how that goes. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. I just don't want to lose him as a friend. We have seen so much of each other for the last 305 days that this almost feels like we are breaking up but I think it is a good thing for me right now.

Sure hope we all sleep better tonight. My eyes have been watering because of the tree pollen so I am taking Benadryl tonight. That might help.
