Good evening lovely lurkers.

So no boss interference should have made for a good day right?...Yeah, not so quick. :?:...Had the toner go out on our copier/printer during the printing of payroll checks, which I had to have by noon so I could send them out with our runner...while I'm making arrangements with the company we lease it from to get more, the new client we just processed for the other day comes in wanting me to explain their reports to them...I tried to explain politely that I had a deadline to get payroll done and that we could discuss these things this afternoon after I was done, but she insisted it had to be done right then. :glare:

Finally get rid of her and get payroll finished, then have people who are suddenly needing stuff that only my boss can give them and she's on a plane and can't be reached. Then I get locked out of our payroll system because it says it doesn't recognize me all of a sudden...UGH!!! By this time it was the end of the day and after sending an email to our IT people to look into it, I decided to get the heck out of there...and upon doing so, promptly spilled my coffee all over the passenger seat in my car as I was making my getaway....Think it's time for a drink and just kick back and forget it all! ;)

Dale, hope the snow holds off for you so you can go tomorrow...stay safe. :nun:

Stay safe tomorrow Dale. Have you driven on snow much??
As little as possible :?: Yeah, I've driven snow ... just not crazy about it :)

Dale, I believe you're going to get some snow tomorrow....well, tonight...overnight and then according to Weather Underground, should be done by noon.

...we're at a "feels like" of 3 But up to 53 next week Tues.
Been a strange winter for temps here.
Starting around midnight they say and continuing through a good part of tomorrow. Going to be mighty cold for a funeral, 27 is our high :( I won't attempt the burial!

Then again it may not snow at all, you know how it goes ;)

Hiya everyone. Sorry that you guys are experiencing some nasty weather. We got about an inch which made for a slippery commute home. I waited an extra moment at a 4 way stop because I knew the car pulling up to the stop sign on my right was going too fast and sure enough, they slid right into the intersection. They would have t-boned me for sure.

Lynn, I'm sorry you've come down with a nasty cold. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Paul, hope you were able to get some heat in the shop.

Dale, please be careful tomorrow. I hope you don't get socked with snow. Dessert looks wonderful, we don't have any sweets in the house either. I tossed all the leftover holiday treats in the garbage. I have been a good girl all week :thumb:

So OBG, eat a hunk of cake for me. ;)

Angel, oh man, what a day. Poor thing, didn't even get to finish your coffee. Harumphhh. I think you deserve a couple of drinks in your comfy chair. I hope tomorrow goes better for you.

Lori, I know those kinds of days as well. Hope your coil burning went well.

Good evening, Lurkers! It's been a busy one today. At least tomorrow is Friday, and the part came in and they came out and fixed my heater!
Dale, be careful out there tomorrow.
Angel, sorry your day went south on you. May tomorrow be much better! :).
Everyone have a good evening. Gotta fix dinner now, so I may not be back tonight. If not, see you tomorrow!

    Wow Sara!!!
Really glad you were being so cautious!
We're not expecting a whole lot, probably be one of those "pretty" jobs ... although with the temps whatever falls will stick around a while.

Thanks Dale. :) One inch of snow isn't a lot but any treatment that was on the roads is long gone because of the rain. We aren't supposed to get much, so I doubt the salt trucks plan on coming out.
