Thanks Dale. :) One inch of snow isn't a lot but any treatment that was on the roads is long gone because of the rain. We aren't supposed to get much, so I doubt the salt trucks plan on coming out.
Well just keep being extra careful:)

Yes I do...maybe I should take that as a sign that I'm not meant to work! :p:lol:

Hiya everyone. Sorry that you guys are experiencing some nasty weather. We got about an inch which made for a slippery commute home. I waited an extra moment at a 4 way stop because I knew the car pulling up to the stop sign on my right was going too fast and sure enough, they slid right into the intersection. They would have t-boned me for sure.

Lynn, I'm sorry you've come down with a nasty cold. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Paul, hope you were able to get some heat in the shop.

Dale, please be careful tomorrow. I hope you don't get socked with snow. dessert looks wonderful, we don't have any sweets in the house either. I tossed all the leftover holiday treats in the garbage. I have been a good girl all week :thumb:

So OBG, eat a hunk of cake for me. ;)

Angel, oh man, what a day. Poor thing, didn't even get to finish your coffee. Harumphhh. I think you deserve a couple of drinks in your comfy chair. I hope tomorrow goes better for you.

Lori, I know those kinds of days as well. Hope your coil burning went well.
Oh Sara, glad you were being a defensive driver!!
See, I'm not so scared of "my" driving in snowy weather, it's the *other* people who aren't respectful of the conditions...there's also a LOT of people driving on tires that need replacing...
I'm really fortunate in my position where I work. Depending on the weather, I can switch my days around.
We don't normally get much bad weather, and if we do get snow, the roads are cleared/passable by the next day.
If I absolutely have to go in, I can ride with DH. 99.9% of the time.
I haven't always had this luxury, and then I just did the best I could...but, I was younger then, and BRAVER.

Good evening, Lurkers! It's been a busy one today. At least tomorrow is Friday, and the part came in and they came out and fixed my heater!
Dale, be careful out there tomorrow.
Angel, sorry your day went south on you. May tomorrow be much better! :).
Everyone have a good evening. Gotta fix dinner now, so I may not be back tonight. If not, see you tomorrow!
Glad you got your heater fixed! Have a good dinner.

Actually I think that's just my normal state of luck...seems to happen no matter what I do!

I will take some of that dessert though...they all look good, so a little of each! :D

Yes, it certainly was a bleep worthy day! But my little drink here is making it all better! :p;)

Thank you! I hope so too...and have my drink and my comfy chair...now I'm ready to nod off anytime!
I'm ready to get to the couch too...

TV time here BBL good night all :)
    Nite OBG
Good night OBG. I'm gonna head out too. Sweet dreams everyone.
    Nite Sara
    Good night Sara

Sweet dreams Lurkers. I'm heading out too. ;)
