She just thought it would be fun to take the grands roller skating on a boring Sunday afternoon...left on a stretcher in an ambulance.![]()

I know!Yeah, it's something to keep in mind when we are feeling "adventurous"![]()

My corrections officer days took over... by the time the cops got there I had him backed out of the house, down the sidewalk, down the street and around the corner.

With Bruce and Dave as backup
He acted relieved when the cops got there, turned and nearly ran to them!

The cop said, he's 6'8 and 290 pounds. I said well guess my DOC training is still worth something then.

Good morning Sara and Paul
(((Hugs))) Paul, sounds like a relaxing day is in order
Thanks Sara, it's not starting out so good![]()
Well I did not think you would have been mean to her LOL
Today is daughters 7th birthday we booked a party at the ice rink for her she should have a blast![]()
to the birthday girl.

Good morning BB.
...guess I better go get moving...geesh, the morning is almost gone.![]()
Gonna be a long day. LOLGood morning lurkers
Glad you're home safe with the DW Paul!Hope the late night hangover goes away soon!
Joey, hope DD has a great bday! Nasty how the bones do these things now days! Took a trip to Europe, tripped and ended up with a titanium elbow and forearm... a tiny little step, maybe 2" down.
We had Bella's bday party yesterday... ended up calling the police on the neighbor and him getting taken to jail for trying to force his way into the house! My corrections officer days took over... by the time the cops got there I had him backed out of the house, down the sidewalk, down the street and around the corner.
With Bruce and Dave as backup
I had the dispatcher on the phone and when I came out the front door he literally screamed, "she has a gun, she's going to kill me." I told him I don't need a gun to handle you... his eyes got huge and he was pedaling backward as fast as he could.

Dave and Bruce said they didn't know I could move that fast
. I said I had to, I wanted to keep him at the right distance for that first strike to his hip so I could bring him down if I needed to, funny how old training took over so quickly!
Anyway, now we have to go in and give our statements today, not at all what I had planned. The good news is they are charging him with a felony so maybe the creep will go away for a while. Up til now he and his kids have terrorized that little town and gotten away with it. Guess he didn't know that when the momma sees her cubs in danger she can turn rather viscous quite quickly... stupid city boy!

Whoah!!! That is crazy!! I'm so glad you were able to keep everyone safe. Sorry you have to go in now and give statements.Good morning! Yes, the morning is just scooting right by. Everything has been secured on my porch for the upcoming storm winds, first round of cooking (chicken salad) complete. Now to await the pressure cooker to cool off for round two of cooking for the day (taco pie). And to continue randomly tearing up the house to assist the DH finding "things" he absolutely forgot where he put them, but must have before he leaves in the morning.Gonna be a long day. LOL

I'm not sure what it is about Bella's birthdays but 3 years ago there was a pedophile/doper living in the shed of an abandoned trailer house next door... the police had been called repeatedly and actually registered him to that address and brought him back. On her 4th birthday, he freaked out and it sounded like someone was killing him, we called and they came but by the time they got there he had punched out walls, windows and was pouring blood out of his hands and arms. Sent him to the ER by ambulance and darned if the police didn't bring him back to the little shed all bandaged up! We cured that, the property came up for a back taxes auction and we bought it...Dang Bobbi I need to invite you to my next birthday party![]()
Thought the neighborhood was going to be okay... then last year this character moved in behind our house... bought the house with cash, came from Chicago and couldn't seem to remember to answer to his name... changed it a couple of times... last night the police addressed him as "Mr. Wells." Hmm what exactly is he hiding from...My daughter and son are getting me an electric pressure cooker for my birthday I think![]()

Police have had lots of complaints and said they have quite a file on him already but since this is a felony maybe they could finally get rid of him. Seems he's been in trouble in several other states and when that happens he moves to a new one... As they were leaving they commented that maybe next year we should try Chucky Cheese for her bday! Ironic considering the thread here this morning!
