Howdy lurkers haven't stopped by in a while but been busy. Had to go to a wake for a friend from HS tonight which was very sobering and sad. He died alone and wasn't found for days. So hard on the remaining family and his close friends. Paid my respects to a box and it sucks.

So sorry for your loss Steve. That *is* very sad.

I might have to check them out sometime.

I was sure busy yesterday between working on the building out back, grocery shopping and keeping abreast of word on the passing of one of our forum members here. In case anyone knew him and hadn't heard, Hank F. Spankman passed away yesterday morning. He was a friend to all, and was a big help to many.

I remember seeing his name, but I don't get around the forum very much. So sad when friends and loved ones leave us. Sorry for your loss.

I'm working my way through a list, but now that I'm back to reading, I'm really enjoying it.
I read a lot of fictional novels when I was younger, then started reading mostly non-fiction, I've been reading a series of three auto-biographies that read like novels, and just love this author.
The one I'm reading now is her travel diary of a two month long trip they took to England.
I feel like I was dropped into her pocket and was there for the whole adventure.

@balwin - if you want something to read, I think you'd love it! "A Fine Romance...Falling in Love with the English Countryside" by Susan Branch.
It's the 3rd of three books by her...not counting her cookbooks.
1 and 2 were excellent, this hasn't disappointed either.

Busy doing coils today I got 4 tanks done with 5 more to get done. I went to home depot yesterday to find new legs for the couch going to put those on to see if I got the right size. Also need to find the remote to my other garage it seemed to disappear

I found another book written by the guy that wrote the other two I told you about It's his first I think and so far it's real good,if you want the PDF link let me know

I would love the link, though I'm still slowly working on the first story. Slow reader these days. Most of my reading is following a couple different forums and lots of recipes

Busy day ahead. I have an olive oil spill in the oven to clean up before I can make a breakfast casserole for the record, I did not make the mess. I know to put roasted veggies on a cookie sheet, not just a foil packet. Grrrr! That's ok, to make up for it, DH will have to go to Walmart by himself. Lots of laundry to catch up on, cleaning and dinner to prepare for half of the family coming that's not sick. Where did the weekend go??

Off to switch loads and get out my cleaning gloves! Have a great day everyone.

Washed my hair and emptied the dishwasher ... that's about it
