I haven't accomplished much either ;)
Washed my hair and emptied the dishwasher ... that's about it

But it's still pretty early ...
You're further along than I am.
I need to do both of those items, a few loads of laundry, burn off coils, wrap DH's mother's b'day gift, bake that sausage/veggie dish....that's about it.
Guess I'll run along and gitter done. ;)

...oh, sorry...false alarm. Just a break in the clouds. :(

Awww, we have full sunshine and cool temps today ... well until we hit our high of 78, still not bad :)

I'm dressed ... sort of  Lounging outfit ;)

    @oldbikeguy

    UPDATE on Redd...

She called last night, and the Dr checked the tube and said the opening into her lung to take the biopsy is not healed. Most people heal in a day or so, but he said she is taking longer and he said that sometimes happens.
So, she will be there 'she thinks' at least until Tuesday.

So, I'm really excited, this starts tonight on PBS.
MASTERPIECE: To Walk Invisible The Bronte Sisters

I'm really only familiar with Wuthering Heights, written by Emily Bronte, I've only seen the movie...this version...

...but, I think it will be interesting to see the story of the lives of the Bronte sisters. :)

Good morning lurkers:wub::wub::wub: Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Heading out soon to pick up another load of stuff from the apartment... This house already had too much stuff, now it will be even worse til I figure out what to do with it all!

Safe travels Bobbi  Yikes, merging two households can be a pain. Hopefully you can replace some older things with the new from the apt.

I wish we all lived closer too! Think we could have a lot of fun and it would be nice to help each other when things get rough. :)

So the oven is as clean as its gonna get. If there is still a smell, I'm used to it. It was really bad on Friday, thank goodness it was warmer, I had to open all the windows. There is still some residual that even baking soda couldn't get. When the weather is nicer, I'll have to do the self clean function. :nah:

Breakfast casserole is done, hopefully it doesn't taste funny. Three loads of laundry done. Enjoying an ice capp and a vape. I'm whooped.

I hope things improve for Redd. Not sure if that was good news or not.

Not sure if I've even read that :?:
.99 cents for the Kindle version...free if you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited (I don't.)
I looked and I think the ones I mentioned should all be .99 cents. :)
I'm going to get it later to read since the movie versions always end up different from the books.
For it's time, it was a very controversial book.

I had to start the movie, playing it in the background while doing my chores.

Cleaning the oven is a yucky job. Ours has the self clean feature too, but it scares me how hot it gets.

Sounds like you're due a break.

Yeah, 99.9% of the time I find the book much better than a movie.

    In your nightmares
    Good morning everyone

I'm really sorry for your loss. ((Hugs))

I didn't know Hank either, but I'm sorry for your loss and it sounds like the forums loss as well. :(

I would love the link, though I'm still slowly working on the first story. Slow reader these days. Most of my reading is following a couple different forums and lots of recipes ;)

Busy day ahead. I have an olive oil spill in the oven to clean up before I can make a breakfast casserole :( for the record, I did not make the mess. I know to put roasted veggies on a cookie sheet, not just a foil packet. Grrrr! That's ok, to make up for it, DH will have to go to Walmart by himself. ;) Lots of laundry to catch up on, cleaning and dinner to prepare for half of the family coming that's not sick. Where did the weekend go??

Off to switch loads and get out my cleaning gloves! Have a great day everyone. :)

I know, it is scary how hot it gets. We've never used it, but I remember my parents would wait for a nice day so our dog could be outside because of how bad/smokey it would get. I'm hoping since it's clean it won't be too bad and I'll open the windows for the cross breeze.

DH's mom had trouble with hers after she ran the auto-clean once.
It just stopped mid-cycle, and wouldn't unlock.
It got hot enough to trip the breaker (we later found out).
She called a repairman to come, we were there when he came, they had to take it out since it was a wall oven, there was a schematic book inside a plastic bag that was melted to the outer side of the oven!
The repairman said that's how they ALL are. He finds most of them melted to the side.
He says not to use that function, I haven't since, but DH didn't think the dude was all that sharp and said I could still use the clean function.
Just thought I'd pass on our experience with that.

Oh wow!! That's scary for sure.

We aren't usually messy inside the oven, other than the occasional fry or tot that falls to the bottom which I retrieve with my tongs. But for whatever reason, he just threw the foil pack in there. Not sure if he didn't seal it good or if it had a tear somewhere. :?: What a mess. o_O
