I'd seen that headline the other day, but hadn't read it...TOO FUNNY!!

...also, I've been revisiting a favorite food blog (w/videos).
If you've never watched any of his videos, try them!!
He's AWESOME!! (bad jokes and all :laugh: )

Food Wishes Video Recipes

from his bio:
Chef John officially started his culinary career by enrolling at Paul Smith’s College, New York, in 1981. Two years later he graduated with an AAS Degree, with Honors, in Culinary Arts/Chef Training and was also awarded “Outstanding Chef Training Student.” Over the next 20 plus years, Chef John held just about every position possible in the food industry. After having seen and done it all in the food industry, Chef John went on to teach at the California Culinary Academy. After almost five years of teaching, John eventually decided to leave the school and follow his dream of teaching a larger audience how to cook, and share his passion for fine food.

    What's next AIR :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Meanwhile, Philadelphia becomes the first major American city with a tax on sugary sodas — one and a half cents an ounce. That's 24 cents for a 16-ounce drink. The industry is challenging the law in court.

    In my home state :D
    And beginning on Sunday in Missouri, anyone 19 or older who owns a gun can carry it in public, concealed, without getting training or a permit.

    Lori does his include the highway :unsure:

    Starting today in Illinois, bicycles have the same right of way as cars. The law was passed after a Vietnam veteran, Dennis Jurs, was killed when a driver failed to yield.

    We just need to move to Mo. :(
    Yes, air will most definitely be next, once they figure out how to do it!!

    ...the highway?? :unsure: I'm thinking...no, is the correct reply.

    That's what my good friend from NC usually makes. I'm wondering if she did that for lunch, because she said they're doing prime rib for tonight.

    Forgot to soak my black eyed peas overnight so I had to do the quick soak method. :eek:

    You can do a quick boil with a touch of vinegar. Boil them hard for about 10 mins and then back it down to a simmer to cook. The acid in the vinegar substitutes the overnight soak. [emoji6]
